I do use the Festool Vac with the boom arm. Its a really nice little setup if you can justify the outlay of cash.

Hi Marc..... the MFK 700 is a very good tool. Which router bit are you using, the 8mm or the 1/4” Festool bits or another brand? What dimension is the largest edging you can trim with your chosen router bit and the MFK700?
    Thanks for your assistance Marc.
    Keep on truckin’

@guerd87 You know, I'm not 100% sure how they sell the router these days. You'll have to check the vendors' sites to see whats in the kit.

Can you make something again? I loved the magazine rack video and the Tiger Maple side table too. Product reviews are so blah.

    To shyhacker:
    I totally disagree with you.
Those videoes are everytime of extreme quality so the tools that are showed in it.
But everything you can do with festool tools you can do by hand , if you skilled enough.
It is not a question to be rich or not, it is a question about how much you want to speed up your work, with more accuracy and less time consuming.
Mr. Spagnuolo just shows you how he works and wich way he achieve results.
You cannot purchase a festool tool, but you learned the tecnique and unless you have had too much intimate contact with a tablesaw, you hand still remain the most accurate and chip tool you have, they are always with you and no consuming electricity and you can clean the nose too, this is something a festool cannot do....actually ;-)
So do not criticize about those " onlyforwealthywoodworkers" videos but be grate that a great skilled man like mr Spagnuolo shares his deep knowledge and professional opinions about tools and woodworking.
You don't like it? Don't waste time looking at them.
You think it could be done better? Don't bla bla, do it...if you can....
Thx mr Spagnuolo for your time and your always interesting videos, every time I learn something new, especizlly that is better to have few tool of high quality, rather than lot of toolsmof low quality.
Regards to both of you fromyour italian follower.
    Christian
Btw I showed those videos to my students during my lessons in university, I am teacher of materials tecnology at Naba, New Academy of Belle Arti, as an example of perfect approach in balace between theory and practice.

try throwing the hose over your sholder. yer shoulder will hold it out of your way. a painters trick if your hose is long enough (no pun intended)

The 2200, yes, also their others, EXCEPT the 700. There's no adapter for the small one.

The Wood Whisperer has never been a channel for woodworker but for professionals ! Just see how much it is a Festool product ! That's why I don't like this show, it's not for amateur at all but for wealthy woodworker !

Then why are you watching it, and even more to the point, why are you wasting time commenting? Find someone to follow that you like, watch them, and shut up!

I agree with others, what is your annual income and what do you do? Do you only want information regarding Harbor Freight tools? Please elaborate.
