I'm a muslim revert and I lived few months in The Netherlands and I noticed the moroccan sisters where wearing a proper and gorgeous hijab, Mashallah I was proud of them of keeping the religion so good in a non muslim country. When I visit Morocco I actually didn't feel this vibe of the young sisters so engaged with their religion.
Speaking about gender equality, they often neglect the fact that the oldest university was founded in Morocco by a woman. In the Moroccan city of Fez, Fatima al-Fihri founded a mosque which developed into the famous al-Qarawiyyin university. Today it is recognized as the oldest existing university in the world. Al-Qarawiyyin is located in the north west of Fes, in the ‘Fes-el-Bali’, the ancient heart of the city. At its height in the 13th and 14th century, Al-Qarawiyyin boasted hundreds of students, so many that dozens of madrassas (religious schools) were commissioned in the surrounding suburbs to house students from Al-Qarawiyyin. The library at this time consisted of over 30,000 volumes from across the Islamic World and Europe.

Historically Omar ibn al khitab brought back jews back to Jerusalem with Omar pact. Gave them religious freedom. Salahuddin Ayubi followed same Islamic justice , Muslim spain was the golden age where both Jews and Christians lived with religious freedom . Claiming that Moroccan youth who were involved in the riots in Amsterdam do not have Dutch norms and values is nothing less than racism in its purest form. Let me explain: by stating that their aggressive or anti-Semitic behavior is due to their Moroccan or Islamic background, we imply that such behavior is inherent to their culture or faith. That is simply not true. There is no historical proof to back this claim, and we all know what really happend during the second world war, here in holland and not in morocco. Think of the hard core of Dutch football fans - often blond and blue-eyed, more Dutch than cheese - who are guilty of anti-Semitism on a weekly basis. No one dares to say that these are typically 'Dutch' values. Why is this double standard applied to young people with a Moroccan background? This fuss about 'norms and values' is nothing more than a smokescreen to conceal racism. It was a weak excuse in the 1990s and early 2000s, and it still is today!

A few things you share are not factual. You said especially Turkish ppl are more successful than Moroccans in the NL, that’s not true. Based on research they concluded that Moroccans integrated better than the Turkish community. Another thing you are sharing about Joram is not true: he was not kicked out of the party but left himself and he is not married to a muslim lady, he is still married to his wife which he was married to when he was a christian and anti-islamic. Historically Omar ibn al khitab brought back jews back to Jerusalem with Omar pact. Gave them religious freedom. Salahuddin Ayubi followed same Islamic justice , Muslim spain was the golden age where both Jews and Christians lived with religious freedom . Muslims ruled these lands with justice and fairness for centuries. All this anti semitism non sense which is projected on Muslim was European idea and rooted in Christianity .

Claiming that Moroccan youth who were involved in the riots in Amsterdam do not have Dutch norms and values is nothing less than racism in its purest form.
Let me explain:
by stating that their aggressive or anti-Semitic behavior is due to their Moroccan or Islamic background, we imply that such behavior is inherent to their culture or faith. That is simply not true. There is no historical proof to back this claim, and we all know what really happend during the second world war, here in holland and not in morocco.
Think of the hard core of Dutch football fans - often blond and blue-eyed, more Dutch than cheese - who are guilty of anti-Semitism on a weekly basis. No one dares to say that these are typically 'Dutch' values.
Why is this double standard applied to young people with a Moroccan background?

How the Dutch government actively recruited men from mediterranean countries like Spain, Morocco, Italy and Turkiye fir economic reasons, to fill in the gap.

A few things you share are not factual. You said especially Turkish ppl are more successful than Moroccans in the NL, that’s not true. Based on research they concluded that Moroccans integrated better than the Turkish community.
