He took Baudelaire's advise - 'One should always be drunk' - with wine, poetry, virtue or music.' Chet Got Drunk on music and this was his real addiction & gift to at least a part of mankind.

It's hard to believe that he was such a 'pretty boy'. Drugs will take take you down fast! But boy, could he play and sing!!!
