Now people often tag this bike to be overpriced and they compare this to other bikes which are there in this segment or even in 200cc segment which are priced equally to this or even lower than R15, but point to note is, This bike is so well equipped and balanced in terms of performance, fuel consumption, features, looks, reliability. The engine of R15 is a gem, it enjoys even if you rev it high all day long, a tiny 155 cc bike with such refinement level is amazing and thats the Legacy of YAMAHA... Indeed there are few bikes which has more power and are priced lower than R15 but, R15 is easy to maintain, being a sport bike still it manage to give a decent fuel average.
Indians are really fickle minded. First when R15 v3 came everyone was asking for usd , aluminum swingarm etc and said yamaha did cost cutting, but now when yamaha gave all features they are crying saying it is overpriced. It is priced ok according to features it gives. I am buying it this year after i get job after interview next month
@@Productuals Indeed. The Bluetooth function is not that useful. But coming to the suspension, it serves the purpose well for which it is designed. It isn't a touring bike or it isn't a Cruising bike that you are expecting a comfortable suspension setup. It is meant to be ridden at high speed with great confidence on the curves , there it needs to be stable to give confidence on cornering and it does the job perfectly. If you are expecting comfort from a track focused bike , then you shouldn't have bought this bike...Go and get some other segment bike. But still Its front suspension is very good. I always go on long rides and have never felt discomfort, infact it is immensely pleasurable to ride R15 on highways

@@rudranarayan1920 Not true. I have seen a few dyno graphs of both V3 and V4 and I can tell you one thing, actual power and torque delivered is much lower in V4 compared to that of V3 (bs6). To make matter worse there is a flat spot (power dive) between 4600-5500 rpm which really hurts its performance. V3 doesn't have this unusual power dip in its torque curve. Only aftermarket ecu and a proper AFR tuning can correct this, after which it gives performance even better than the BS4 model at certain rpms.
I knew Indians love Indian product..but I ride r15 and rs, and in my oppinion, they are different class. I would choose r15 in all kinds of roads. Off road to race tracts..
Sold my 8 year old R15 V2 in April this year , now I’m regretting, 😢 the smoothness of engine, riding experience without pillion was so great I’m missing it now, quality wise it was king of the segment. 🖤🖤🖤
I wish they could have made a commuter friendly version of the bike with a pillion seat that is practically usable like the old version R15 S from 2015
Yamaha is way ahead of sf250. But the fact is which I agree is that, there is only one underated brand which tries to match up indian single cylinder market is Suzuki.
R15M is MUCH BETTER in everything if we compare it with Bajaj Pulsar RS200. Bajaj company should upgrade their bike RS200 if they want to keep competition with other bikes companies.
If Bajaj updated NS and RS time to time with LED,wider tire,USD,more sophisticated looks, instrument cluster etc. then they would have easily engulfed the market of R15 and MT15. What a unfortunate and stubborn company!

Who need top end ..it has looks..but price is very high ...and the parts are not that much harder..light parts may break quickly..go for any other powerful machines at this price range😑👍👍
