- The Mk4 Supra was a total redesign for 1993 from Toyota. On the outside you will find a totally new look, aluminum hood, 17in wheels and spoiler delete. On the inside you will be greeted by a leather interior, large central tach and no targa roof. Under the hood is the iconic 2JZ 3.0L twin-turbo inline-6 paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Is the 1993 Toyota Supra Turbo KING of the 90's sports cars?

It really makes me happy seeing you are filling the garage with your dream cars. Enjoy it.
That means the world Omar!
That 1993 Toyota Supra is one of my favorite sports car
You have great taste Jimmy
I prefer 300zxtt
Kinda overrated at this point honestly. Same goes with all the Skylines. But then again I can’t blame everyone for these car choices as they are truly great cars. I had a 94 Prelude back in the 90’s and damn I miss that car!
I think my favorite car is definitely has to be the 1993 Toyota Supra Because it's the best car too
I would prefer the stock looks over that Fast and furious orange Supra.
I see a stock MKIV Supra Twin Turbo six speed manual, i click!
I like the way that you think!
The mid 90s was something else... I didn't start driving till 2002 lol
Both N/A and Turbo Supras have a 2JZ. The non-turbo is a 2JZ-GE and the turbo is a 2JZ-GTE. Love the video, congrats Joe!
One of my biggest pet peeves is when people make that mistake...
Started driving in 1992. Drooled over this and the 300zx.
What a beautiful, and rare- original Supra. You're the perfect caretaker of a truly legendary car. Thrilled for you!! Congratulations, Joe!!!
RX-7 was always my 90s dream car. Supra is 🔥 tho!
So very true
Yeah, RX-7 R2 was the one I let get away.... sigh. Gorgeous and handling dream. Supra's were better numbers cars, but I wouldn't even notice a Supra if it was parked next to a 90's RX-7.
It’s funny..back then I’d say one reason I’d take FD over Supra was due to size.. bc I thought Supra was too big. Yea..now Supra dun look so big.
rx7 was like a baby supra 😂
The Mazda RX7 Was definitely a great car it's always a Turbo Charged Rotary engine
I was 16 yo when this came out. Still one of my all time favorite cars. Always wanted this, a toyota mr2 1st gen, interga and prelude. That was a great time for sporty imports.
Prelude was amazing. First front engine, FWD car with 4 wheel steering.
Nissan 300Z and Mitsubishi 3000 GT VR4
Totally agree..you had to be there
Oh yeah I'm all about the MR2
Even at 37, still my dream car and loved em BEFORE FAST N FURIOUS. Loved the car in blue since my PS1 days of Gran Turismo 1 & 2. I’ll get one even if I have to sell all my fast Hondas. But now a house is priority above everything.
I can totally understand where you are coming from.
That supra looks so clean
You’re damn right it is Joe. I have a MK3 and MK4 Turbo. I got into Supras back in 1990
I own a 89 Mk3 Supra. Thanks for the great video.
That’s awesome you are so very welcome
My dad used to have an 89 Supra
Sir, you have a piece of gold. As a teen, my neighbor had a 93 turbo anthracite with the dome wing. Was a privilege to drive it.
That is so fantastic to hear!
My favorite feature of the MKIV Supra is that the entire middle control panel is tilted towards the wheel making it truly a driver focused vehicle and easy to reach out to make any chances without losing sight of the road. A spacecraft coupe.
Back in the summer of 1998 I got to drive a BPU 97 TT Supra with the 6 speed and it was an amazing experience. The acceleration the sounds, the HKS SSQ bov sounds etc. was something to take in.
And even back then in 1998 the car turned a lot of heads!
In 1990 I was 14 years old my father worked for the fork lift division of Toyota, after visiting our local Toyota dealer, they had a red one there and I was hooked. I kept begging my dad to order one through the dealer network I told him one day this car will be or something right now it’s undervalued even my dad said at that time with the TwinTurbo who would pay $48,000 for a Toyota well about five years ago my dad and I were talking about this and he told me I should’ve listen to you Tim we should’ve bought the supra…. but oh well it all worked out. I ended up buying a super clean example of an ISF which is another car i’ve always wanted it’s a 13 60,000 miles on it in ultrasonic blue…
I've had a few 92 fox body mustangs and they look ancient compared to this gen supra. They look so modern. Truly ahead of their time
💯
Damn a Supra! Congrats joe crazy too see how the channel has grown.
I’m glad that you are on the journey with me.
One of my all-time favorite sports cars ever. This is the one that started my love for JDM back in the 90s.
That thing is in prestine condition. Wow! Easily paid a hefty price for that.. $90k+. Back in 2008 i bought a 1995 NA 5 Speed Supra from Toyota for $11k, 1 owner and 45k miles. They had a green 6 Speed TT Supra there too for $36k.
You deserve all the stuff that makes you happy, Joe! Congrats on the new toy.
There was a used car deal on Ulmerton Rd. near Pinellas Park, back in the late 90-00s and all they sold were used japanese sports cars. RX7s, MR2s, 300ZX, 3000GTs, Supras, etc. And it wasn't a special shop where everything was inside behind locked door or fences. It was just a used car dealer with a small lot, and a trailer office, that you usually see on the side of roads. And they would let you also come up to them, open the doors, sit in them etc whn I was in HS. The salesmen didn't even car enough to come out, we were kids. They let us admire the cars, no problems.
Classic JDM at its finest. Well taken care of. Love to see it. Thanks for sharing Joe. ☮️💙
Congrats on owning this icon! You got an amazing fleet of rides!
Thank you for this video,I love it!! I'm a supra maniac. I from Mexico i came to the u.s. in 1994 and i remember going to the LA Auto Show and saw the new supra. Which i never seen before...and I Fall In Love with that car. I was 17 years old back then...after that my first car was a 1979 supra then 1980,1982,1986,1986 1/2,1987 and 1988!!
I whish some day owne a 1995..that's my dream!!
I LOVE SUPRA!!!
Here we go! Joe we need more old school car reviews! When you’re able to get your hands on one
You got it Anthony
One correction, these aren't faster than the 3000GT VR4. None of the magazines knew how to properly launch a 3KGT, except one. They actually got the 1st Gen 3KGT to do very low 4's 0-60 and 1/4 mile in the 12's. Like 12.8 or so. Other than that, very much love the MKIV Supra. One of my crowning achievements when I was a teenager back in the day, was beating a BPU TT Supra(RSP too!) in my DSM. Was like beating some mythical titan with a bow and arrow. I'm sad we never got an american Skyline, because that's the other side to the Supra argument. The 2JZ-GTE at full send and the RB26DETT at full send are both heavenly.
Congrats Joe, you deserve it!
I did a major double take in your community page. Congrats my man!!
Thanks man!
Any car from 2000 go back to the conception of cars are the best. They are legends! They are masterpieces!
I like the way that you think Nick!
@@RaitisRides Thanks!
Congratulations Joe. I highly recommend a photo gallery on your website for your vehicles. So we can keep up as the roster inevitably grows!
If I had to flip a coin I would not be disappointed between this or an NSX.
Those are expensive dayum go Raiti!
Thanks Cody!
That body style is timeless. Enjoy brother that is absolutely an icon you have there.
Killer video. What a treat.
Thanks for sharing the video of your super slick Supra thats super rare to see these days even on internet.
Glad you got your hands on a DIAMOND of cars.
Cheers!!!
Awesome Joe! clean and original, my best friend in high school in 1989 had a 1983 Toyota Supra, good times- brings me back!
that's one of the most incredible videos I have ever seen!
You managed to bring on the screen that ''Dream come true'' feeling and thats so beautiful!
well done and enjoy this beauty!
Joe… this was a real treat. What an amazing video of driving & reviewing this GEM!!! 💎 🔥
Sweet car, Joe, I'm envious. Thanks for the video honoring this classic.
You deserve it Joe! I love your videos. God bless you man!
That's super clean! I have great respect for people keep their car stock.
I would say it is Joe, I wanted one so bad but couldn't afford one in high-school and got a 3000gt instead.
But right after I graduated I purchased a '94 Mazda rx7 fd3s in montego blue. At 6'6" I totally didn't fit well until I changed to corbeau seats and the steering wheel lol. That was dedication
Bring back the supra toyota! Ooohh yeaa they did lol
Great video! Can't wait to see the next Supra on the channel ! 👀👀
Oh man, I used to own a 94 Twin turbo with 6 speed. I then moved to California and had a hard time with getting it smog approved. I didn't want to remove all of my upgrades and sold it about 6 years ago. Now the price is about triple of what it was.
Holy crap man, congrats!
This is amazing. Love your content and glad you've reached this goal
A legend !! Congratulations Joe
Congratulations on this beauty of a car, 1993 continues to age very well. Good call on the zonk for the steering wheel. Such a great way to go back in time!!
Congrats Joe! This car was my dream car for a long time. I have all the Japanese magazines, toys, and repair manuals except for the actual car. 😂 This is a nice example rare hardtops. Enjoy!!!
Congrats Joe!
I like it WAY better without the "basket handle" wing. Very clean car. Looks beautiful in silver!👍
what an awesome review. Love to see the passion you have for the cars you love regardless of make, model or year!
I was smiling for the entire length of this video. Thanks for sharing this awesome video Joe. Please take care of that MKIV.
This channel is really turning into "Rait's Rides". Grats bro 💯
Amazing car, congrats man!
Joe and Lori and Steve keep up the good work real true and I love the video 👍
It is so nice to see one of these original and not fast & furious'd out. Congrats Joe! Been watching since around 10k subs. Well deserved my friend!
Growing up in the 90s this was on everyone's mind. If you knew/seen someone cruising one of these and if it was built that person was the talk of the town. Mustangs, Camaros, Firebirds were all cool cars in 90s but this Supra was a notch above.
Welcome to the club. Once u own one you'll always be in a select group for life.
Thanks for taking the time to say that!
Thanks for this review ! Absolute classic, but I gotta zonk that rear wiper 🤣 Congrats and thanks Joe 🤙🏼
Turbo supras from 93 to 96 did come with a small Turbo badge with adhesive backing that was often added by the dealer sometimes. The badge was usually placed below the SUPRA badge on the rear of the car. My 95 supra came with one.
Literally my favorite car ever❤❤❤. I come for the car reviews I stay for the story's. Congratulations enjoy that car.
Great find Joe…….congrats !! 👍
Thanks Tim! I really appreciate that
Yes!!! Finally a real car. Nice ride Joe. You forgot to wear your neon shirt, cargo shorts and boat shoes, Man! A mullet wig would have finished the look. Did the "magic" happen in that sweet ride, Joe?
Ha ha...love ya, Buddy.
Everything litterally started becoming more rounded in the 90s. That's a fact Joe! 👌😂✔️
Love all your knowledge joe!
Living the dream! Good for you man
Congrats Joe! I'm super jelly of your Mark IV!
Very nice supra review bro it definitely brings back memories
The good old days!
Toyota, Honda, and Nissan from 1986 - 1999 were the baddest. The JDM resale market is taking off for models from this period. Beautiful find!
Didn't see that coming 😅 congrats. My 90s dream were a 91 Stealth RT & the 91-92 white Foxbody GT. 🤞🏼 Hopefully some day!
Joe’s an inspiration. So glad I found Raiti’s rides. I got a reservation/deposit on a championship white CTR. Currently in a port in California. First ever manual. Let’s go baby 🎉🍻
I love seeing you in this work of engineering art. Congratulations on your ownership of this vehicle! I would not modify it one bit. Maybe the exhaust but keep the original parts. Kudos to you man!
Thanks Eric! That really means the world!
Thank you for listening to my request!
Damn is the RUclips money that good? You’ve got more cars than the dealer! Lol
It is all relative.
Wow. What a find. So awesome that you made it yours. This for me, as a late 40 something, was the heyday of automotive design. The designs are timeless and the performance still holds up. Beautiful car. Congratulations Joe!
Thanks brother for letting me share it with you!
Massive congrats! And that is one clean Supra!
Congratulations on your supra joe is amazing seeing a complete stock supra
Congratulations, absolutely beautiful creampuff condition. I hope that you and Lori smile everytime you are in it.
You got a Supra??? Congrats man! Welcome to the club. I have a 95 diamond white pearl(also a hard top). My old black 95 made an appearance on your virtual car show a few years ago. You have a rare car my friend. Premier turbo with a hard top (with a v160)Congrats man!
That is so fantastic Charles! Thanks for saying that and I totally remember your car!
@@RaitisRides I look forward to more Supra content! More GT350 content too. That car is on my list as well. Enjoy in good health!
Hell of a find man. I don't think I have ever seen a fully stock one. This thing is as close to mint as they come. Congratulations!
Thanks Brad! I am so glad that I could share it with you!
Nice. I had an 82 Supra and loved the big 6 sound! I think I had it a year before it got stolen! It was my favorite of the 4 cars I've owned!
Toyota needs to watch this video, and hopefully, this will remind them of their roots.
Love seeing a fellow car enthusiast enjoying his passion
congrats Joe!! nice ride, i remember when these came out, one of the last vehicles we had was going to the Detriot auto show, never made it so the dealer got the car. took it out in january with the targa out and road tested. always a great car..
That is so awesome to hear Neal!
23:05 LOL😂😂😂.... man I enjoy watching your vids. Congrats on the supra!
Technically this was the 1993.5 Supra. What a fantastic jump in automotive engineering at the time. I was fortunate enough to sell Toyotas during this time and was invited to a sneak peak of this vehicle before it was revealed to the general public. The folks at Toyota explained the development of this vehicle and how meticulously they worked at saving weight. Things like the huge single-outlet exhaust and even using hollow carpet fibers(?!) helped to save weight. Chevy was still selling C4 Corvettes. About ten years later, BMW offered a 3.0L twin turbo I-6 with about the same outputs. Fifteen years after that, Toyota offers the GR Supra with about the same outputs again with the same size engine (yeah they tuned that up a little the following model year). The '93 Supra drove fantastically and felt like it was bolted together with laser precision. The engine's overbuilt construction made it very reliable; inline 6's are naturally balanced and probably the smoothest engines on the planet. Bulletproof and people can easily get 600+hp without tearing it down. Thank you Joe for all of your insightful reviews and Twinkie Chipotle burrito-isms.
Congratulations Joe on getting another one of your dream cars. The 1993 Toyota super. This is one of my favorite cars of the nineties too. I’m so happy for you Joe. Please keep showing your cars👍🏾😀
What a bad ass car, I love Supras, especially the Castroll Race edition, for the rally. This car was present in various video games because that’s how popular it was. The first Grand Tourismo for PlayStation 1 had it too and it was one of the best choices you could do!!
This video is definitely so special
We really appreciate you
I would keep that supra forever man and by the way I was born in 1993 too 😊
Great looking car for its age, headlights, body etc. Different content here, and it was unexpected and great. I especially appreciate it because I have an original 2000 Audi TT quattro in my garage with same impressive originality for its years. Been watching for awhile, first comment this one moved me. Thanks…
Congratulations!! Awesome car! 😎👌🏻
You said that “down the road” you will be selling it. I am “down the road”! I am ready! lol!
Amazing review Joe.
Congrats sir!! Wowza ❤
Man, who doesn't want a mk 4 supra? Congratulations, Raiti! Love your channel!
You have a great garage now. I've seen you come so far!
Awesome Joe , enjoy ur mk4. I own the 1992 Mk3 and the transmission feels the same . Very precise on every gear .
That is so awesome my friend.
I never knew anything about this car until Joe introduced it to me thank you
