in no particular order: 1. D&G The One Sport, not a performer. I like how it smells though. Discontinued. 2. Layer of Givenchy Pi and Burberry Weekend. Ended up smelling like a masculine D&G Devotion. It's pretty good, actually. 3. Ralph's Club Elixir, was outside for most of the day and thank God. But, man, I love that stuff. 4. Gucci Guilty EDT, this and Burberry Touch are my dumb reaches of spring/summer '24 5. D&G The One Gold. Costa Azzura vibes, anyone? ... and yes, Gerard, Gentlemen EDT is amazing.
My birthday was Friday and my girlfriend was staying with me for the weekend, so I let her pick. For my party she went with Green Irish Tweed, and initially tried to pick Molinard Cuir and I had to stop her. It was super humid and it's mid July in LA, so I went with the veto. On Saturday my best friend was throwing a Tiki Party and that's when my girlfriend threw me for a loop and picked 1 Million Parfum, which was like catnip to her. She mentioned it like five times. It threw me for a loop because she typically likes green scents on me, and suddenly she went with the sunscreen scent and loved it. Sunday we went out for a nice breakfast, and she picked The One Grey, but she had to head home around noon. So I reapplied and decided to layer it with Guerlain L'omme Ideal Cool and WOW. I found magic. This was a solid rotation this week. I have had my bottle of Qaed al Fursan for about a year now and yes, it will macerate and get a lot better. Put it on your shelf for a while and you'll like it more in a few months, I promise.

I just got a travel size of bohemian lime and you are right. It is surprisingly good for a citrus scent. Also sticks quite a bit to my skin. The price is a bit steep but the scent is really good

De Per. 1899, Asdaaf Al Laila Ghair, T. Terenzi Akragas. On that Lattafa, my bottle is a pineapple bomb. Outside in the breeze, it is really good.And,my wife is like yours and agrees.Thanks for the video.
I'm still with you on the Lattafa, it's just not for me. But I have a Givenchy Gentleman story for you. I found out the Gentleman Cologne was available at a decent price on Amazon and ordered it. They sent the EDT instead (which is, you're right, fantastic!). I contacted them and they said it was non-returnable, to keep it and they refunded me. So I reordered the Cologne and now I have the Cologne, EDT and the EDP. And I think we've discussed Toy Boy before, I think it's amazing. Last week's wears: Sun- Amouage Portrayal Man, Mon- Acqua di Parma Fico di Amalfi, Tues- Nishane Ege, Wed- Nishane Safran Colognise, Thurs- Nishane Wulong Cha, Fri- Amouage Boundless (it was a cooler day), and Sat- Givenchy Gentleman Cologne.

Finally got around to testing Perseus and like Greenly I don’t love it. They are both ok, but I like my fragrances a little sweeter. I think if they would have added some sweetness to that grapefruit in Perseus I probably would have loved it.
You convinced me to purchase the John Varvatos. I'll likely get that in August for the cooler months. Hopefully, the leather note in it isn't too strong because my wife does not like fragrances with strong leather notes. As I said last week I was also disappointed by Qaed Al Fursan. However, I was able to gift it to someone who liked it. I didn't hate it, but it was an underwhelming smell that I would never wear. There was no point in me keeping it when someone else can enjoy and use it.
Try Rave Now black bottle. It's the pineapple without the spice funk Great performance and just smells like ripe pineapple. Great for layering. The white bottle is great for spring summer.
I also got Qaed Al Fursan. When I first sprayed it my anxiety level went to overdrive because it reminded me of a sweeter version of BR540 and everybody in NYC wears BR540 or LeLabo Santal 33. So annoying. That said Im glutton for punishment and when it starts to cool down Ill wear it. Dont think its something I would wear in the midst of summer. What say you?

I just bought a john varvatos gift set from marshalls for $20. The OG and Vintage are really great. My wife loves them. I've bought like 8 fragrances in the past 2 weeks 😆 that azzaro is on my wishlist. I'm so tired of this sweet/vanilla trend in modern frags.
O... man... Toy Boy smells a bit too floral for my liking. I have the bubble gum version, which is actually for females, but it's definitely a gourmand fragrance-it smells exactly like Bubble Yum. While I love the scent, I don't wear it because it's a bit too youthful for me. I love JV fragrances, and the og is one of the best. It's very suitable for the office and smells like what "leadership" should smell like, lol. I've been just wearing Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme because it's been so hot lately. It's a beautiful and timeless fragrance, and I appreciate it as I wear it more and more.
I cannot stand Montblanc legend but love legend spirit. The opening (and mid) of legend edt smells like someone covering up what they just did in the bathroom. Perhaps it's tied to my college dorm days with old Abercrombie scents mixed with the shower room. Smells and memories are so interesting.

Givenchy Gentleman EDT is criminally underrated, and I need to get my nose on Bohemian Lime 🍋🟩 The "smelling like a grandma" allegations hit home for me, my wife DESPISES when I wear fragrances with a strong floral component (which are the scents I personally love and often get complements on from others). Ended up selling Noir Extreme because she disliked it so much off my skin(😭)

The best pineapple fragrance by far is Thomas Kosmala #5. A bit pricey, but amazing.

Yea I agree it’s pretty sweet in the opening. Although after that it’s kind of a jumbled mess on me so who knows.
Saw Toy Boy at TJ Maxx today but didn't know anything about it. Also saw many CDNI body sprays which I have never seen at a store like that before.
