Great video. Thanks! I agree, not as luxurious as I'd expect for the Ritz-Carlton. Last year we stayed at the Kempinski Nile and the Fairmont Nile, both were 5 star luxury hotels that seemed more modernized than how this looked.
I landed up getting a Nile view room the next day. It is what I was suppose to be booked for. There was a big wedding and they put me at this side of the hotel the one night. Nile room view was much more quite and a real beautiful view of the Nile and the restaurants on the Nile.
Pointless of the staff adjusting those masks as the only masks that stop the virus are N100, N95 are only partly effective even when properly fitted and changed every 15 minutes. Anything else is just pretend theatre. Went one night in 2019 to the hotels bar upstairs, fantastic view and great service.
@@CatesCube Yes, after 15 minutes the masks become damp (moisture from your breath) and that will wick undesirable stuff. Remember the 95 isn't just some random number, it represents the expected stopping percentage (so 5% gets through) and that will reduce your chance of catching the bug from brief encounters but not from say an infected staff member who is cleaning your room for several minutes. The 100s are good for hours and are what tradesmen wear when say grinding toxic materials. The cheap blue masks? Good to stop dust and pollen and gobs of spittle but not much else.
the man who stopped you from filming needs to learn some manners , he was trying to bully you and what he said was ridicules what hotel stops you from taking pictures especially when guest are on holiday . as for the hotel its a shithole with a stupid price tag better off in the st regis
I'm very much a Ritz person but the guy giving u disrespect in the lobby and the shower mildew. And scuffed doors ECT, wow. This rits sucks. I would have not stayed and wrote a letter. Taken my ass to a 70 buck a night room w a view of the pyramids.

This was iconic hotel before Ritz days. Nile Hilton
I love the Mena house location.
They should have done something with those square pillars, like some egyptian statues

リッツカールトンとセントレジスで迷っていましたが、両方の動画を見てセントレジスに泊まろうと思いました。セントレジスのほうがお部屋と眺めが気に入りました。
The sight from ( Ritz Cairo ) more favorite from the sight of ( Ritz Parise )

The man who challenged you for filming was a fool and did more harm to the brand than he knows.
Not much better than a Motel 6.
Lol and goes right back to filming, maybe say making a video instead of shooting a video.
Its very bad hotel you can see the reviews on google check the negative comments what they talking about security staff and reception staff its bad
