There was so much more that I wanted to say, but was afraid I would give away spoilers with my facial expressions -- and was having a hard time getting through it. You can read all my spoiler free thoughts here: mamasgeeky.com/2023/04/guardians-of-the-galaxy-vol-3.html
After reading the reactions, I'm also not ready to say goodbye to the Guardians of the Galaxy. One last ride for James Gunn at Marvel before he starts his next journey at DC!
I feel like the thing that’s gonna make me cry by the end of this movie is the fact that they have become like… family to the audience over the years (if that makes sense) and seeing what happens, knowing that this is the last go around for these cast members and everything is going to hit hard in the end
I can see the clear muscle twitches indicating pain. 🥺❤️ I have my tickets bought, high hopes. This and Spider-Man are the only remaining corners of the MCU I still have complete faith in.
So glad you loved it Tessa 🙌🎉🎊, I can't wait to watch this next Thursday I already had a good feeling Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 was gonna be great because James Gunn does not miss , Superman Legacy is in perfect hands with James Gunn 🤘🔥🕊️
I have just watched. The most heart wretching scenes are during all the parts on Rocket, Teeth, Floor and Lyla. Im a guy and those scenes did shed tears for me in the dark theatre.
Hi Mama 👍 Looking as cool as ever 👍 I watched Guardians Vol 3 today 🎥 and it was fantastic 👍 I laughed and I cried 🥲 And the action scenes were incredibly 💪💪👊👍 The scenes with Rocket and his friends really pulled At my heart 🥲🥲 What a movie, will definitely be going to See it again 👍 Sending ♥️ from Scotland 🏴👍✌️
Mama's Geeky is such a fun and pleasant person to listen to when discussing every thing Marvel, I am 56 yrs old, and became a strong Marvel fan since the first time I saw an Incredible Hulk comic book back in the early 60's, I truly love her enthusiastic articulation, and I like her is a true fan of Marvel.
Well that was a tearful ramble that was a joy to experience......your passion and enjoyment of these movies and characters is really outstanding......as are you Tessa. Well done 👏👏👏
7:14 loved your review I will go to see it On Thursday i to am a uge GOTG super fan in fact I have started my GOTG tattoo sleeve after seeing yours I got Big Groot on my arm for my birthday this year..
I’m excited and great review and I’m worried about tonight since my city didn’t get special screening of the film and spoilers are gonna be flying high and that worries me
Hello, Tessa. Easily the best MCU film since No Way Home. After Endgame, the MCU lost it's way, but this film presented a good villain, which is rare in the MCU, with a compelling story. TERRANCE OUT
@@MamasGeeky I know I will too when I see it! One of my best friends loved Guardians of the Galaxy movies but he passed away a year and half ago and his birthday is today so it’s extra emotional for me!
I'll be seeing it Thursday night at Silent Bob's movie house! This very much tells me that I’m gonna have to bring A BUNCH of tissues, and honestly I AM SO NOT READY for the bittersweet ending of the Guardians trilogy!
This movie was so good, I cried a lot 😭 I love all of the characters so so much. An emotional movie with so much heart. I love Rocket so much, baby rocket is so cute 😭😭 I give it an 8.5 or 9/10. Amazing movie. This movie and No way home are my top favourites since endgame in my opinion. They’re both masterpieces to me
it was very entertaining and funny, rocket's flash back scenes was so disturbing and heart breaking, one of the best marvel flicks to come out in awhile
Go ahead and spoil. Saw it earlier. I liked it. Don’t think it will save MCU. Gunn is big loss. So are the OG Guardians. That last credit scene though…white background…digging that.
I’m really hoping that GOTG 3 is the best of the MCU’s Multiverse Saga otherwise I’ll have to bow out from any and all future Disney/Marvel films due to the fact that a lot of them have been lackluster and very disappointing.
I am sorry that you haven't enjoyed them as of late! This is probably my second favorite MCU movie... I need to think on it more but... that is where it sits right now.
@@MamasGeeky I’ll keep my fingers crossed for this one because the only three i found to be satisfying since the start of Phase 4 have been Black Widow, No Way Home, and Multiverse Of Madness since I’m being completely honest about my current status as a MCU fanatic. Aside from the fact that we’re finally gonna see Adam Warlock, my interest has been diminished since this current saga hasn’t even been half as good as the Infinity Saga in my opinion. It’s hard to top Thanos and i never really cared for Kang and i guess I’m gonna have to wait until they release the new Xmen and Fantastic Four movies to regain all the interest that I’ve lost these past few years. I’m glad that you enjoyed GOTG 3 and such strong feelings about it being the best since Avengers Endgame!
@@NeonDeity I sure hope so because as far as I’m concerned this will make or break the future of the MCU and i wish i was kidding but unfortunately I’m not.
Never really liked the character of Rocket that much with all his ableist making fun of people with artificial limbs or eyes. Peter also seems more like an angry man-child than a likable protagonist much of the time and Gamora never got the development she deserved. Will be interesting if this changes my mind on any of that.
I already know that this movie’s gonna emotionally destroy me and also I still don’t know if I trust James Gunn’s announcements for DC…..after what happened to Batgirl
"Drax's story was so fantastic" omg when I heard this my interest in this movie went to the roof. He is one if my favorites but I feel his story was not explored enough in the first two movies.
@ghost that's not accurate at all, but ok. Maybe you should go to my video list on my main channel page and look. Every single video? No. Almost all reviews are the photo of me smiling but ok. Believe what you want. But maybe open your eyes. And also, there is nothing wrong with crying or being emotional or wearing your heart on your sleeve.

My hero is it good
I'm so ready and not ready at the same.time! I love the Guardians ever since the first time i saw them in theaters. I'm not ready to cry!
Have tissues handy!!!!

I cannot WAIT to see what he does for DC. And I am eternally grateful for what he has done for this ragtag group of misfits that I love so much.

100%. They are loved by so many and yes, like family.
this movie is gonna be a emotional rollercoaster I can feel it
