If i was gonna die too, I'd want to die having helped a good cause. He wanted Eren to guarantee that when the time comes, them risking their lives for him will be worth it all. i definitely would recommend reacting to the mobile suit gundam openings they are a classic staple of mecha anime ngl do have some of the BEST openings in anime since the 70s
