Its all because of two things: Supercell being basically owned by Tencent, and the cycle, while cr fades, brawl stars will boom, then the cycle will countinue.

@eminem643 someone already did the math on this if you look it up. Streamers reacting are stealing views rather than "promoting" the original creator. However this is only an issue if the original creator thinks it's an issue, if not. then no problem.
I was a magic items farmer. I spent a lot of times just to collect all the magic items which were free. But recent level 16 update make a massacre and I spent all my collected books and magic items in wrong way. I became so frustrated that I quit and I play nulls royale Randomly

Level 16 man, this is their last chance, truly. Remove it now or whats next, lvl 17? becuase lets be real why would they stop at 16. 15 is a good number, and at lvl 15 fireball does 1000 dmg and 300 twr dmg almost as if it was designed to be essential to balance around. REMOVE LVL 16 NOW OR THE GAME IS DOOMED

wtf is wrong with adding more progression to the game? im in like arena 10 so i wouldnt really get it but i dont see why people hate it this much
@belchgod maybe because it costs over 20k to upgrade every card from lvl 15 to 16 alone
@belchgod It locks players down to certain decks (especially F2P) for all "important game modes" like ladder, ranked and clan wars. it was difficult enough to get a single fully LV15 deck, in clan wars you need 4 with no duplicates, it was bad with LV15, LV16 was another level of pain and suffering.

Anyone else remembers wen they said "level 15 will cost no gold" and yet here we are today having to pay 90k gold to upgrade a card from level 14 to 15
The worst is gold is easy to get these days and the costs have been cut off. While getting cards is way slower than before. I remember I got a 5 star chest and got 40 epic wild cards which are nuts compared to a book

@Sergio_Fv1I don't know what you are talking about. I have 500k gold and no cards to upgrade. Every time I open a chest it turns 2-3 stars and boom there's gold in it. I got all that 500k in the last 2 months and upgraded 2-3 cards spending nearly 250k

@Sergio_Fv1except cards. I'm only getting gold. 8out of 10 chests I open give me gold. And when ever I get a 3 star chest I get gold or emote. So 15000 gold is there for me from the chest on daily basis. Sometimes they give me upto 45k/day just from chests

Clash Royale used to be pure joy. In the early days, there were so many fun playstyles - Goblin Barrel with Clone in 2v2, pump after pump, hut spam, all that crazy stuff. None of that exists anymore. The game has lost its soul. It’s all about competition and card collecting now. That’s sad. I never cared about having the strongest deck in the world - I just wanted to have fun, experiment, and create ridiculous, memorable moments.
Yesterday I think they announced the new heroes, absolutely madness of overpowered cards

I've been playing the game for a long time, not continuously but on short intervals. I was playing when level 15 was added. I haven't spent a single penny on the game and I've never even been able to upgrade to level 15 with elite cards.
I started clash last month and I loved it at first but once I go to the higher arenas it just became pay to win

The main thing they can do to to at least help the issues they made is making heroes like 4x easier to get it's already bad that it takes like half a year to get a hero you also get a RANDOM ONE if they wanna keep their gambling mechanic they at least have to make it cheaper to roll or give us a way to get more shards through.... bringing back season shop place hero shards in place of the evo ones and people are gonna play more to get em

The fact that I got like less than a third of the wild cards for rare cards than when I got 3 musketeers randomly is actually crazy. It was like 1400 to less than 500 wild cards or something. Greedy as shit

Honestly, I REALLY hope the Board members and stock holders at Supercel are looking at their numbers tank like crazy and are currently screaming into the face of the idiots who made these greedy decisions.
The crazy thing is that the numbers are not going down, player counts are actually pretty healthy. It’s because clash royale has acquired a brand new audience of younger kids who have no idea how much better the game was
FTP started in 2020. Still playing FTP, but yeah, lvl 16 was devastating. Was almost halfway done getting my cards to 15... now I only play merge.

I downloaded clash royale September 2025 I remember 2v2 having all cards unlocked and had a blast with a friend until the December 2025 update which removed it and only cards you unlocked was playable and that’s when I stopped playing the game ill be back if they ever unlocked all cards for 2v2

funny thing is it was going a lot better a year ago which made me come back after a four year break, playing since release I saw a lot of metas. Never was this game more pay2win then now. Not even when legendaries were rarer then a evolution from a 5 star😅
