He has a very long wingspan and other shorter players usually have above average wingspans for their height.

This was fun to watch. Showed multiple ways to attack the new course, with multiple skill sets. Fun round amongst the competitors as they learned the course. Editing was slick while adding in the appropriate razzing, hope this continues next week!

Watching the first hole shows how insane Simon's play was on hole 1 when 4 of the longest throwers on tour playing doubles didn't get a birdie. Sheesh
I did park it 2 of the 3 rounds, but what was Simon’s play?
@@BrodieSmith Simon played it the same way you do, big hyzer and then forehand. He birdied it all 3 rounds though, which I think is what the OP was mentioning.

@@BrodieSmith Nice! Seems like a very tough hole to park with that low ceiling! Austin was correct, I was referring to his overall play on the hole (3/3 birdies) which was the same hyzer, and low forehand play.

These are getting better, and I'm enjoying them ALMOST as much as the OTB skins matches. But today, somebody pushed Brodie's speaker button.
When Brodie first started his disc golf journey people commented on how loud he was. I'm assuming he took it well, because he commented about it, and it stopped being an issue. It seems to be that when Brodie's excited or mad his volume goes up. I think he took this doubles match a little more seriously than some others, because you can hear the stress. 😅🤣😂 I had to turn down the volume today. 😅🤣😂 Which one of those guys do you have a man crush on to cause that kind of pressure? 🤔🤔🤔

They always say “crack the whip” when drew throws you hear it very loud “CRACK”
That is called SNAP. It's just your middle finger snapping into your palm after the disc rips out of your fingers. (The EXACT same way you would snap your finger normally.) You hear "release point" all the time, but you don't "release" a disc on a drive, it rips out of your fingers at your full arm extension along the line you've accelerated the disc. Unless a disc actually "slips" out of your fingers early, which is rare, there is no such thing as an early release. It was just aimed at the wrong spot. "Grip lock" is also rare. On occasions where you really try to throw at max strength, it's possible to accidentally grasp the disc too hard because you have tightened up the large muscles to throw far and the hand just goes along with the program. Most of the time grip lock is just a failed aim point, too.

It's probably around a 5-mile-walk for a whole round. Why tire themselves out when they are practicing? Save the energy for the shots, not the walks.
