One of my very favorite songs on the planet.
One reason is because Ive been at this point before in my life. I have never actually died and came back although I was at 4 beats a minute and that was once I was in the Ambulance. So I was almost outta here. Physically. But as far as my spirit goes I was clinically dead. And I was never more scared than I was during that time. I could speculate all day about what caused this death or deep spiritual sleep but that truely isnt the point. The point I want to make is that its entirely possible to be dead or feel dead on the inside. But death was just a transition for me. I had to seek out God and He was silent for a long time. But I kept asking for help and guidance and even through some of the scariest and most darkest of days and nights I knew He would hear me and not forsake me, He promised in his word, and I believed Him. He brought me back. Gave me what it was I had been searching for all along. Love.
If you find yourself in this dark place, keep going. Keep praying. Keep seeking. Its always darkest before the dawn. Especially in Hell. I know, Ive been there.
