I have not played Unplugged yet, so I couldn't tell you. It doesn't feel bad, all things considered. Not as loose as GH2, feels slightly more exacting, but I never feel like I got something I shouldn't have or I didn't hit something I blatantly did. I want to say emulator lag makes hitting early feel slightly more of a crapshoot than hitting late. My first run of Crazy Train on emulator was a genuine nightmare of always being slightly too off with the timing, but on a real DS, it felt good and reliable.

How is this engine compared to Rock Band Unplugged?
