I read that Jim sharbh said that Neeraj made his character antagonistic. I’m very skeptical about it. The most amazing thing about s1 was that no characters were villains. They were just a mix of bad and good just like humans are. Adil was kind to his in laws, to Karan, first to leap up when Karan needed help, made sure everyone was comfortable. But because of his image of himself being the “virile punjabi” he had to be the alpha women saving “the women in distress” always. When Tara was a nobody, he loved her. But as soon as she started becoming independent, he couldn’t handle it and moved on to the next “damsel in distress”- Faiza. That was the complexity of his character. He wasn’t necessarily a villain or an antagonist, he was just a character with flaws like we all are. Just like Tara is too. We see her in all these amazing light, but we are shown that she actually leaked her own sex tape in a country like India and manipulated, persevered to rise the ladder in a very cheap and desperate way. She is complex. I really really hope they maintain this complexity rather than just make someone an antagonist, because that’s always easy to do: a movie with a villain. I’d be so disappointed if that changed.

The questions were a bit not great as well - typical stuff like why so late? (I mean there was a literal pandemic). How should people watch it? Very very mundane and not great questions. I mean these are some of the most creative minds in the industry. Zoya Reema Neeraj Alankrita and Nitya. Made in Heaven is a landmark show. We could have had a better quality of conversation.

Please get a better sound mixer/engineer, the output is very low quality and every person is wearing a lavalier so their audio should be super high quality but it isn't even when connected to a loud speaker on full volume. PLEASEEEEEEE get the sound right pleaaaaaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee we really value these interviews and your work!
