Thank you for this very excellent instruction video. My Tab 4 had gradually lost its battery capacity. I ordered a new battery for the Tab 4,10" device and was directed to videos to similar Samsung tablets, but not ones with the silver band around the screen. So I was trying to remove the back in the wrong way. Once I got to your video, it was a piece of cake!
Just successfully changed the battery! Was a bit nervous doing it, bought my tab 4 off ebay and the battery life and charge were awful. Old battery has 2014 on it so probably needed a fresh battery.
My tab is like not responding at all when it was unplugged and when I plugg it then it starts like modin mode and just 1 sec the screen goes off. And it happens repeatedly again and again until I unplug it. Would you like to say something?
Can u please help me mine is same tab and when i took mybtab it suddenly switched off and started heating very much so i opened cover and disconect main battery connection when i connect it back it becoms soo hot pls tell me what to do and where can i buy bew nother board pls send me mail pls help
Bro samethingbhappened with me. Heat from back rectangular steel plate (near to lcd wire). So I too disconnected battery wires. Help me if u get any solution bro
Bro actually it cant be fixed because this is really old tab and there is no parts available and if u need parts u need to buy second hand tab that is in ebay but we cant trust that because they r from foreign countries and they want us to pay before the items gets ro our hands so cant trust them and if u get new mother board all ur data will be lost so there is no use bro

Looks too easy to remove cover. I tried with fingernails with no luck. What type of pry should I use?
Thin plastic pry tools. Might have to let your nails grow out.
Use the hooks of clips which are used to dry clothes in india. I used it bro. It worked to remove outer panel

Sounds like motherboard needs to be replaced
