i threw in a 212cc on a blades moby scooter back in 2012.it was pretty quick too and quiet but the take off was a bit slow since i had it geared to do 40+mph but it did take like a few seconds to get up to 40+mph.thing was fun af too untill i sold it and got into goped building.
MotorcycleS typically have high horse power engines and geared transmissions. Most of the engines you see here are in the 6-7hp range, so 35-40 is about all you get. If you put one on a narrow tired bike frame set up you might get 45-50, but it's not safe as bike wheels just are not made for that kind of speed or horse power. Fun fast, but I WOULD NOT RISK IT FOR THE THRILL. DEAN.

a have a extreme 49 cc scooter 2017 mod folding mechanism isn't locking in place do you know anyway to fix it is it possible to do away with the folding bit
hi i have quite a similar set up. but with CVT, there is no "neutral gear". so pushing the bike around is difficult. is it the same case with yours? or how you solve it? i know you sold long time ago. thanks.
like the scooter and the upgrade of the motor. You mentioned Avid BB7 brakes, but why didn't you put them in the rear? What size did you get for the front? mm? I have a Big Boy MX with the Morini motor.
What kind of forks and bars are on that? I've been trying to look for a swap set for my Built 79cc Predator Scoot. I get speed wobble due to the small tire it has. Ive upgraded the rear but can't fit a bigger tire up front. Check it out in my channel. Plus i just added NOS to it yesterday. Not sure when I'll be trying it. I have some engine issues at the moment that need to be fixed, plus rear wheel gear changing with a custum sprocket. Ive been really putting a bunch of add ons during my dirtbike recovery lol I can't ride.
Dude your Scooter Rocks, awesome job on rebuilding, you got your self a monster scooter. Not trying to push my pile of steel on you but if you like crazy scooters check out my line, ATSC scooters. I started like you, but you are way ahead. your scooter is Just Awesome.
Nice job! I thought about doing something like that. I hear Predators are nice engines. I would think a 212cc would be able to go at motorcycle speeds. Is it the transmission that slows it down? An average 200-250cc motorcycle can top out around 60 to 80 mph but you stated it tops 30 to 40 mph. Are there ways to get a 212cc predator to reach 60?
+Joe It's all about gearing... a honda cbr250r has I think 5 gears and this has a cvt. Also, you wouldn't want to go more than 40 on this scooter because the tires would disintegrate at such high speeds.
Emmett L Yeah that's true. Guess that's why most stock Goped engines are under 50cc. I don't think I would want to go any faster than 40 on something with wheels that small & no seat.
APCWORLDSUXAZ lol yeah. A seat typically adds a bit of comfort & somewhat helps a rider have better control so in some ways a seat does add some safety compared to riding a seat-less scooter though. Kinda why all motorcycles & M1 class scooters have seats.

8+ ftp of torque is kinda weak for the 6+hp engine right? you sure that it's not 80ftp?
