He passed away 5 years ago, and I lost my nerd buddy with his passing. So often The Horse and His Boy is over looked that I have nothing to display as a momento to those precious memories. My dad and I also read the books (the Horse and His Boy is my 2nd favorite, I even did a book report on it in 5th grade). Aravis is an incredible character. I teared up when I saw the Lion, Witch and Wardrobe bar with the stamps. That part of the story is such a delightful core memory for me, and you did such a great job capturing that in a soap. (I felt better for being overwhelmed with joy and tearing up when the next soap for Reepicheep made you tear up. Whew. I'm with my people. :) )
The Magician’s Nephew was one of my favorites! The winter image is what gave the theme away for me immediately though. My subconscious hurled “always winter but never Christmas” to the forefront
For me, although I never thought of The Silver Chair as one of the better books in the series, my favorite quote in the whole series is from that book. "I will live like a Narnian even if there isn't any Narnia." Such pretty soaps in this one, just wonderful.
Tearing up over Reepicheep is so relatable. I'm blubbery mess every time I read that part. I also agree that the actors for Lucy, Peter, Nancy, and Edmund are the same from the movie as my head-canon, but for Eustace, I don't think you can get better than the BBC miniseries from the 80s. Perfect casting.

The Lion, The Witch , and The Wardrobe has been my favorite children’s book since 3rd grade when I found my aunt’s copy of it at my Grandparent’s home. I actually grew up reading them in the order they were published which is different than how the set it presented now.
I direct community theatre and the first show I ever directed was The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. I also directed it a second time recently, right after I lost my brother. It will always hold a special place in my heart. I LOVE the soap themed after that book. ❤

I will share something hilarious...when my son was 6 yrs old (when Chronicles of Narnia movies came out)...he kept asking me what a wardrobe was...he was afraid of the idea of a wardrobe...he had already knew what a lion & a witch was...he had me laughing 😃...lol! Yes! I knew it! Admittedly, the Snowdance was a little bit of a blur, mostly because the Silver Chair wasn't a super memorable book for me, but I LOVE THIS! The series is absolutely nostalgic for me and I don't know how many times I've recommended it to children over the years! I love the collection, the ideas you chose for each soap and it was so fitting and beautiful! Reepicheep's soap, the final soap and the Magician's Nephew soap actually were the easiest for me to pinpoint, though the others definitely took a more than a little remembering! XD
OMG the scene with the boy and the horse being hunted in the desert is my FAVORITE scene in all the Narnia books, it was so scary to me as a kid and it stuck with me! So cool to seea soap and learn that someone else appruciate that moment!

I quoted “come further up and further in” in my graduation speech in 2015. I’ve read the series over and over since I was a little girl. I read them to my own children when they were small and now my grown daughter loves to read them herself.

A few years ago my friend was cleaning out her house and she was going to get rid of the entire Narnia collection! I hadn’t read the books yet, so I asked if I could take it and she said yes! I’m so thrilled this collection is based on these books!

Those books were life altering for me when I was a child, I was so entranced by the idea of an alternate magical place that could be reached through a wardrobe, they are the reason I never stopped reading to this day! I'm 53 this month and it truly warms my heart to see so many generations still affected by these stories. I LOVE this collection. I LOVE it. Dawn Treader has always been my favorite book, but Puddleglum is my favorite character. And I’ve always pictured the afterlife something like the Wood Between the Worlds.

The first soap completely threw me, but when I saw the 2nd to last with the rings I knew it had to be. This book series means the absolute world to me. I collect multiple versions of the books and I can't not cry when reading/talking about the world of Narnia. Every one should read them all at least once.

My set of the books are a third printing from 1954 when there were only FIVE books written :O and they came to me in a funny way that makes me laugh a little each time i see them on my bookshelf. My best friend growing up, she didn't like to read at all. Her grandma brought a set of books home with her from her travels and hope to entice her with this wonderful series. My friend gave me the Horse and His Boy because she knew i liked horses. I was HOOKED and my friend was more than happy to give me all the others. But we were never ever to mention it when grownups were around and I had to tell her what happened in each in case her grandma quizzed her about the stories. I sat here laughing and tearing up listening to your soap explanations. That friend and I lost touch many many years ago but the books on my bookshelf bring me back to that fun secret we shared.

This collection holds a very special place in my heart. My mom loved reading books to my brother and I before bed every night, and this was the first full series of books she read to us. It took the better part of a year because we would only read a chapter or two a night. I'm so glad my mom did this with us and I plan to carry on this tradition with my kids some day.
This series was so beautifully done. I absolutely loved the symbolism. LWW was always my favorite, but I always recommend reading TMN because it helps explain things in the second book. THaHB was actually really difficult for me to get through and, my first go through almost stopped me from finishing the series, but I pushed through upon my second read and finished the series. TLB made me cry as well, but overall, it's a beautiful series.

Been wanting to read all of this series for years now. I remember the year the first movie came out my second grade teacher read us the Lion, the witch, and the wardrobe and I instantly fell in love. Literally just rewatched the movies for the billionth time yesterday and now this video from a year ago is in my recommended. I guess that’s a sign. I adore Narnia. Growing up, I've often been left by myself, my parents (divorced) couldn't really be bothered with me. Dad was on the truck all week, so I lived with my mum, but she wanted to party and go out with friends. I've developed Anxiety, Depression, and PTSD due to this, on top of autism. And I never really believed in anything. However, I read the Narnia books cover to cover, watched the movies as a kid, especially the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, and they taught me to be strong, brave, kind, and courageous. So all in all, these books did help shape me into the person I am today.
Loved this series, books and soaps. Thought I knew what it was with A Horse and His Boy soap but was convinced with Reepicheep’s red feather. Bought the entire collection and having BF “surprise” me with them later this month for my birthday, lol.
Narnia is one of those movie series (I’ve read some of the books but I’m not a confident reader) meant a lot to me as a little girl and now they remind me of my dad who passed when I was only 12. I did my high school term paper on Narnia. I have reread them SO many times!! They are my most favorite books!! But - CS Lewis made The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe the FIRST book for a reason. That is how they were meant to be read. The Magician’s Nephew was supposed to be sixth also for a reason.

I'm 53 this month and it truly warms my heart to see so many generations still affected by these stories. I LOVE this collection. I LOVE it. Dawn Treader has always been my favorite book, but Puddleglum is my favorite character. And I’ve always pictured the afterlife something like the Wood Between the Worlds.
I remember reading the Chronicles of Narnia all throughout elementary school. This soap collection has to be one of my favorites but I am super bummed that it took me until the winter soap to guess Narnia. But it also makes me want to re-read the entire series because they're just such wonderful books!!

I must be blind because I can't find the giveaway instructions anywhere, but I love it and I'm pleased that I guessed correctly! Also a cool idea for a future secret series... Do some kind of roulette to choose x number of people and those people are given secret assignments to design a soap from. So it becomes fan designs + secret soap series. You choose the theme and simply assign ideas!

I do like the lamppost as well, but I have the same problem thinking about where to put it. I have seen people get it on the underside of their forearms.

Edit- as you were talking about the Last Battle, I burst into tears. That book has always been my favorite- it’s sort of a call for my Dad and I, further up and further in. He taught me to read with the books and I cannot begin to tell you how special this series is to me 💛

I saw Narnia as guesses so many times, too! I've only The Lion, witch, and the wardrobe SO I didn't have a chance at guessing! Great Series! Can't want to the next one! That last one was my fav! It was the stamp and colors for me.

The first soap completely threw me, but when I saw the 2nd to last with the rings I knew it had to be. This book series means the absolute world to me. I collect multiple versions of the books and I can't not cry when reading/talking about the world of Narnia.

My set of the books are a third printing from 1954 when there were only FIVE books written :O and they came to me in a funny way that makes me laugh a little each time i see them on my bookshelf. My best friend growing up, she didn't like to read at all. Her grandma brought a set of books home with her from her travels and hope to entice her with this wonderful series. My friend gave me the Horse and His Boy because she knew i liked horses. I was HOOKED and my friend was more than happy to give me all the others. But we were never ever to mention it when grownups were around and I had to tell her what happened in each in case her grandma quizzed her about the stories. I sat here laughing and tearing up listening to your soap explanations. That friend and I lost touch many many years ago but the books on my bookshelf bring me back to that fun secret we shared.

The lion the witch and the wardrobe was the first chapter book I read add a child ☺️ I just had my daughter on Thursday, and her room has ton of Narnia elements added to it …I’ve never bought any soap online, but there is always a first time for everything! Its always been my favorite series, my daughters room is themed around it, and she was born during this soap challenge …obviously a sign! Lol 🥰

I've been hoping that it was Narnia themed so badly because Narnia was my very first special interest (I'm autistic) and to this day it's so near and dear to my heart. I absolutely love what you did with each book and they all look absolutely fantastic and I think you did each book so much justice!

This collection holds a very special place in my heart. My mom loved reading books to my brother and I before bed every night, and this was the first full series of books she read to us. It took the better part of a year because we would only read a chapter or two a night. I'm so glad my mom did this with us and I plan to carry on this tradition with my kids some day.
This series was so beautifully done. I absolutely loved the symbolism. LWW was always my favorite, but I always recommend reading TMN because it helps explain things in the second book. THaHB was actually really difficult for me to get through and, my first go through almost stopped me from finishing the series, but I pushed through upon my second read and finished the series. TLB made me cry as well, but overall, it's a beautiful series.

About fifteen years ago I asked for the book series for Christmas. I love them so much. The Final Battle makes me cry every time!! Thank you for doing this series! My granny and I watched the box movie set in the 90’s. She always had Turkish delight whenever we found it. It brings back so many amazing memories.
Been wanting to read all of this series for years now. I remember the year the first movie came out my second grade teacher read us the Lion, the witch, and the wardrobe and I instantly fell in love. Literally just rewatched the movies for the billionth time yesterday and now this video from a year ago is in my recommended. I guess that’s a sign. I adore Narnia. Growing up, I've often been left by myself, my parents (divorced) couldn't really be bothered with me. Dad was on the truck all week, so I lived with my mum, but she wanted to party and go out with friends. I've developed Anxiety, Depression, and PTSD due to this, on top of autism. And I never really believed in anything. However, I read the Narnia books cover to cover, watched the movies as a kid, especially the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, and they taught me to be strong, brave, kind, and courageous. So all in all, these books did help shape me into the person I am today.
Loved this series, books and soaps. Thought I knew what it was with A Horse and His Boy soap but was convinced with Reepicheep’s red feather. Bought the entire collection and having BF “surprise” me with them later this month for my birthday, lol.
Narnia is one of those movie series (I’ve read some of the books but I’m not a confident reader) meant a lot to me as a little girl and now they remind me of my dad who passed when I was only 12. I did my high school term paper on Narnia. I have reread them SO many times!! They are my most favorite books!! But - CS Lewis made The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe the FIRST book for a reason. That is how they were meant to be read. The Magician’s Nephew was supposed to be sixth also for a reason.
Gorgeous! We read The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe in 2nd grade and watched the BBC (I think BBC?) miniseries and my entire class was obsessed with it.
I also read chapter books to my children every night and this was one I read to them! Both children now love to read and I hope to see the tradition continue if they have children of their own
