You’re really an encouragement to me! I’m 62 and doing this full time. I see myself using it to supplement SS when that time comes!! You’ve inspired me to venture out of my comfort zone and I’m getting good sales because of it! Thank you so much 💕💕💕
The dog is an Australian Silky Terrier. Ours is named Bucky. Too bad I cannot post his picture. Like the one you purchased, our Bucky has a blonde head and silver body. His hair is silky hair...like human. He is 6 years old. Love your videos. I am binge watching. You make me laugh out loud. Thank you Karen
Lucchese boots are very expensive, I've sold a couple pairs gently used for $250. Saw a pair today Gator ones at garage sale, but lady of sale wanted $400, too much for me of course. She knew what she had. Great find, amazing price you paid, wow..way to go!!
Enjoy watching your vid. learn a lot love your humor and honesty of not knowing everything about of the items. Love your tenacious attitude that you don't shy away from challenges. You're an inspiration to me. TFS.
Hi,i just found your videos and loved them!!!!!i saw mellissa’s videos but didn’t realize she was your daughter!!!both great channels,I wanted to ask you if you found silver items,do you polish them or sell them like you find them ?
Love watching your videos, you have such a lovely disposition and a calming voice nice to listen too that draws peoples attention. I'm amazed of all the wonderful items you find at such a great price. Hope you get top dollar for all your finds, you shouldn't have a problem getting those prices you said. You aspired me to get out there to get whats mine lol. Looking toward to your next video☺👍
Your statement that $5 must bring at least $25-$30 is how I decide on a buy as well. So far it's working and now I'm prepared to pay up for things if the return is there. BTW your thrift stores must be amazing!
Hi .. again :) when you are listing and have the item packaged you .. already know the weight? for info on the listing? I notice your listing shipping some items are clothes and the shipping price is on the size of the box or the weight of the item with box?
Hey Karen, Such an interesting video. Regarding the walking sticks, I think curly willow grows in a twisted manner. Love, love, love the Elizabeth Arden sphinx kitty! And the boots! Incredible condition on those boots! My phone notes are almost full, too, lol. Once I thought I had lost all my notes, but someone at the phone store told me that they are saved in The Cloud somewhere, and the phone store can get them back for you. I am so happy to learn the term, "Loopy Prop" as my business model is a lot like yours. I have been a hobby seller of everything from mouse traps to tutus but I am getting ready to open my first store. I will let you know the name of it alter. All the best to you and Mellissa, whom I also love.
sweet finds, over half of this stuff I am scared to try, either it's bulky, glass or I would have no clue how to ship it. Thanks for sharing though, I have been learning a lot from your videos.
Hi there I am just starting out on eBay and am also in my 50s. I am inspired by your story. My question is do you list mainly with best offer or set price.....lots of low ball offers eat up my slight profit. Trying to learn. Thank you 🤷
There use to be a place in Orange, California that was a HUGE place called the Crystal Cathedral. It was Robert Schuller's church. It was actually a tourist destination for people of many faiths. It closed about five years ago. Sorry to take up your whole comment area.
Funkoholic it is still open. It was purchased by the Catholic dioceses and is now called Christ Cathedral. The large glass sanctuary is being renovated.
Hi Karen, do you have to have a state license to sell on eBay? If you have no idea what to ask for a price and you can't find comps anywhere how do you find out what to charge, especially on vintage items? And if you only have a debit card, can you get a credit card through eBay? Great haul! You got a lot of nice things there. Thank you for sharing and I'm looking forward to your next Q&A. God bless!
Watching this old video after watching you for the past year. Did you purposefully work to change your voice? Your voice now is deeper and more soothing to listen to. Not that this is bad….just curious 😊
So many items in this haul that I think are fantastic. The tulip 'Tiffany' lamp would look great in my granddaughters' room...perfect. My question is totally unrelated to your haul, though: The sideboard/dresser with the glass top to your left in the video: Did you get it with the glass top already or did you put that on later. If later, could you tell me where you got the glass and how expensive that would be? Looking to do that. Thanks.
I am an old lady lol and a beginner in selling my finds. So far just a few items but i have a question HOW DO YOU ACTUALLY RUN COMPS? i am technicalogically challenged. God I am doomed. Lol
Not a Scottie....loved our Scottie we had as a kid called Zolig…..think it is a Yorkshire. Great pickups ! Congratulations on your booth....you are one busy lady !!!!!!!!!! Corie
the Crystal Cathedral was one of America's 1st megachurches, built in 1980 by Robert Schuller, in Garden Grove, CA. the church is built all of glass, really quite beautiful. his TV ministry called the Hour of Power had a viewership of 20 million per wk, they would offer gifts and books to people who contributed to the ministry. your eagle was probably offered to high $ donors. Dr.Schuller died in 2015 but i think his children still carry on the TV program, however the Cathedral went into bankruptcy and was sold
Loved your video, again but... did you change your lighting? The objects used to show crystal clear but now they appear "innundated" by light somehow...🤔🤔
You are so pleasant and seem down to earth, yet you have done this, something that many of us are aspiring to accomplish. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with those of us trying to "get our feet wet" in this adventure!
The twisted walking stick my very well be a Bulls Penis. I know that's sounds insane but I watched a documentary on an old man who patented them and he made them all himself. It looks very similar to the ones he made. Super weird I know but if that's what it is, then its worth a TON of Money! to the right buyer of course lol
Yes it was a story on RUclips that I stumbled upon lol The old man was so proud of his work. He made golf clubs out of them too and took them to a super high end Golf course to try and sell them. The owners loved them and then when he told them what they were made of they about threw up lol needless to say they didnt buy them 😅
Great video ! I was wondering where you got your mannequin ? I have a full body mannequin but it is a pain to dress and undress ,and move around.yours look perfect !
Love that crock! I would hope to find an old one like that.. mine is more modern. And YES! I KEEP THE Kombucha in it! Love the stuff. Great video, congratulations on the brick and mortar store... will we be seeing any videos of that adventure?

Love how you organize your haul. Martiki-hilarious. Fantastic job!
Like your name :)
Did you ever opened the antique booth!
Love watching your videos, you have such a lovely disposition and a calming voice nice to listen too that draws peoples attention. In the book kovels antiques and collectibles, there is a silver plate, shaker penguin, napiet, 12.5 in, that sold 2250$!!!! Is it the same
You have really got me into hard goods and I love it so much... you are the best ever. I learn so much from you... great video!
The turtle looks like a hidden key box to put by the front door. Great video as always! :)
You are so funny! Love your videos!
Turtle is for hiding a key.
💖💖💖💖
My question is why you choose to set a price on eBay rather than letting it go for auction.
great haul! If you ever find that penguin marked "napier" the last one sold for over $800
Great haul Karen!!
Crazy lamp lady"s boyfriend Drew likes US flag and history stuff. He would probably like protecting old glory ornament

one more thought......an antique store in my area once sold several valuable antiques to the producers of 'Mercy Street'.
Movie prop, not loopy prop.
Thanks, Lori. I obviously didn't hear that correctly. Thanks again.
Hi Kathryn! :)
Great Haul, Karen!
Love your videos, Karen. I believe the carved animals walking stick should bring you much more than $30...it's so unique.
greener pastures yes! It sold for $53 plus shipping 😁👍
sweet finds, over half of this stuff I am scared to try, either it's bulky, glass or I would have no clue how to ship it. Thanks for sharing though, I have been learning a lot from your videos.

I really enjoyed this video a lot. But I am so amazed at some of the prices. They are soo cheap. I look forward to more videos.

@@sharsaki4971 That is such good news. The place was beautiful and a lot of people worshiped there. Thanks for the good news.
I enjoyed the video. Absolutely love the walking sticks! I believe you can get more than $30 each for them both!
You are lucky to live in an area with a Goodwill that offers such nice items. Our local Goodwill offers junky stuff and it is priced really expensive.

The walking stick with the
animals was very interesting. I would have
thought it would sell for
around $80.
Turtle might be an incense burner. Yorkshire is the dog breed
Hi 👋 thank you for taking time to educate us. Just curious which state are you from because you seem to find really cool items?
You’re so good with key words! Thanks for sharing 😀
Turtle might be a key hider
I bet so!
Or possibly a ring box?
The eagle is From Chuck Schulers church, the Crystal cathedral, in Garden Grove, ca. The church has gone bankrupt.
Our Senior Adventures oh dear! 😁
Congratulations on your boutique!👋👍booth.
Maybe a place to hide a key in the turtle? Those walking sticks are gorgeous. Not sure what overhead would be with an antique booth?

F Cohen the cabinetry is built in original to the house and I had the glass custom made, about $90 if I remember correctly
When vines grow on a sapling it can cause the wood to take on the twisted shape of your walking stick
I am an old lady lol and a beginner in selling my finds. So far just a few items but i have a question HOW DO YOU ACTUALLY RUN COMPS? i am technicalogically challenged. God I am doomed. Lol
Loving your videos
Thanks Karen! Great video!
What are you saying??? “Cambucha?????” What on earth is that? Love your videos💕

You are so pleasant and seem down to earth, yet you have done this, something that many of us are aspiring to accomplish. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with those of us trying to "get our feet wet" in this adventure!

Willowgirl USPS free triangular boxes, listed both on eBay, animal one sold already
Yorkie
None of my ceramic hard goods sell
... so I've stopped picking them up even tho I love them. Any tips to get them to sell?
Becky Gallion I don’t really check most times, im sorry, I just go by my gut 🙄😁
Does it cost more when shipping fragile lamps and labeling fragile?
Only if you use a certain USPS fragile label for special handling.
i rivas only when you pay for a special handling service from USPS and they apply a special fragile sticker ( different than the normal)
Maybe insence burner for the turtle?
I bought a stained glass lamp like your bigger one at big lots for $20 a couple of years ago
Is the turtle a key holder? If you lock yourself out of your house and you would hide a key in him. Cool finds.
You did very well
Love that crock! I would hope to find an old one like that.. mine is more modern. And YES! I KEEP THE Kombucha in it! Love the stuff. Great video, congratulations on the brick and mortar store... will we be seeing any videos of that adventure?

@@lavenderclothesline oh man! Well, if you decide to ship it, let me know. Thanks for letting me know!
