Man, I love the look of these bikes. Brompton's next steps should be getting rid of the greasy chains by going with belt drives, disc brakes, and adding an internal gearing speed hub like the Rohloff or Alfine 11. All of those with their electrified front wheel would make the perfect folding eBike in my opinion. And swapping out the cheap plastic wheels with 80mm rollerblade wheels with high quality bearing seems like a no-brainer for a bike you're spending thousands on.
The modding community has already covered most of those needs! Keep in mind Brompton themselves only decided to make a titanium frame as a reaction to the increasing popularity of bootleg titanium Brompton parts.
That would a nice set to have on a T-line! Driving one around here in Helsinki would be equal to owning a Lamborghini of bicycles. Lots of people have Bromptons here as daily drivers.
That is a beauty. I love the design and appearance of Brompton's as well as their usefulness, and I'm hoping to join the Brompton owners club myself very soon!
You’ve got 4 sprockets on the rear rim. What is the group set for that config? I want to convert to Jk rims. I still have the original 6 sp hub with the chain tensioner. Appreciate your help.
Hey there, if you convert to JK rims you will have an option of going 4 or 5 speed using the MInimods X4 (11-13-17-21t) or x5 cogs (11-13-17-21-25t) need to change the shifter as well.
@@cfos118 for now we have to stick with Facebook and Instagram - I can see till 7 speed but for JK max is for 5 speed, if MInimods will develop X7 then it will be compatible with the setup
Oh yes, they dont want to compromise the performance and quality of the wheelset to make it lighter, this is just base on our experience, ride safe Dennis!
I'm shocked it is so heavy, I'm looking at less than £2.9k and be about 7kg with disc brakes, tiagra 4703 as want 10 speed for like most gears before change chain as often as 11 speed and 20" wheels
It does creak but its just a minor drawback to think that you are getting a full titanium Brompton is not comparable to P line man, my vote still goes to T Line
@@781BromptonPremiumParts nice! If you don’t mind me asking, what’s the creak like? Like when you’re steering or riding, the creak and squeak will present itself? Even Brompton uploaded an advance upkeep video for the T line which is dedicated to the creak and squeak issue.. I tried the T line demo unit and was quite impressed tbh.
@@youronlycow we can hear the creak while riding in a bumpy road, its not a deal breaker, applying a carbon compound will fix the issue in our opinion but not that bother on the sound that we are willing to spend hours in disabling the fork and steerer just to apply carbon compound, this issue will not make you hate your future T line, believe us!
best just to get a cheap road bike, no matter what you do and $ you spend on your brompton it's never going to go that fast. I also own T-Line and don't understand the $ spent in incremental improvements. I guess it's a hobby for some.

It’s around 1400 USD for the JK wheelset, there are some options out there but we better go with the original builder of performance wheelset for Bromptons, keep safe man
@@781BromptonPremiumParts Wow, didn’t expect they would be so expensive, mat one ask why would anyone buy wheels like these ? Is it because you have lots of money so why not buy them ?

I've been riding this bike for about a month ruclips.net/user/postUgkxwC0IIeIomGQVeBWg-kKJaToZkLEFIA2W and a half now and I think it's fantastic. It helps me get to work on time every day since I'm able to fit it inside of public transportation rush hour. The price is great too, people are always shocked when they ask me how much I paid for the fold up and I tell them "200". It's easy to fold and installation when it ships is insanely easy. All you have to install when the bike arrives is one foot pedal, everything else is done for you. I do recommend you carry some sort of wrench to tighten any loose screws on the handle bar and seat whenever they get a little bit loose. Other than that I think it's a fantastic bike. Easily fits in the home, can fit inside a car trunk and can even fit in subway rush hour.

Super cool. Like when you were a kid, whenever you got new sneakers, you could run faster.
ohh yeah hehehe
Is the hub quieter when coasting than the stock one on the Brompton? I love the T line and that's the only thing I want fixed..
Definitely louder than the stock one, you might need to skip this upgrade.

why are the carbon parts heavier than the original parts?
Built to perform, more spokes for stability and sealed bearings to last longer, JK always aim for the quality.
