Hello, oh I have played all the Tomb Raider with a very big pleasure. But I am only blocked on "this precisely" moment. For 5 months. And I really can't do the actions requested. Maybe those actions are more adaped for manet, and not for PC. And I am not a kid (I am 45 old !)
@@mllesarahauvray À quel moment es-tu bloquée ? Parfois il y a un bug sur PC qui empêche d'attraper une corniche. Il faut alors baisser la résolution du jeu dans les paramètres.
@@corentinguillo5577 Bonjour Corentin ! Ah... Merci beaucoup. Depuis des mois que je cherche "un truc", c'est la première fois qu'une solution m'est proposée. Merci infiniment ! Je vais essayer... Le problème que je rencontre est que je ne parviens pas du tout à faire l'enchaînement "roulade de côté + tirer + attraper le bouclier". Car lorsque Lara fait une roulade (1 fois / 4 environ), elle met au moins 5 secondes pour se relever, et le Centaure est déjà loin. J'avais terminé ce jeu sur console facilement. Mais sur PC, impossible de passer cette étape du combat contre les Centaures. L'enchaînement ne se fait pas.
I played this game with my grandpa when i was 12 years old i was scared of all the wild animals. I like the old games more than the games that are now new. The part with the t-rex last ages.

People who think old games are so much better are confusing nostalgia with the game itself. Oh sure, an old game might have been awesome to a 12 year-old because you're still at that age when the world was a very magical kind of place. Hell, when i was 12, back in the late 70s, the idea of a gaming console where you could insert different cartidges and play different games other than Pong was, quite frankly, unbelievable. It was magical. And my friends and I would spent hours playing it. Does that mean I'd rather spend my time playing Atari 2600 games than those horrible "new" games? You'd have to be a lunatic to think that. No. So while I may have been more excited and more awed by the Atari 2600 than I am with modern PC games, that's only because I'm comparing the magic of youth with jaded adulthood.

This was a really great trip back to my childhood, seeing the environments in a more aesthetic way while still getting that expansive, desolate, solitary tomb raiding experience. I would love to see a remake of Tomb Raider 2 from 1997 in a similar fashion.

This game was a nightmare. No tutorials online back then. Mind numbing puzzles when i was a child. My ps2 days. I have played all of the Tomb raider franchise but Anniversary has a special place in my heart.
I remember playing this on my psp , this is the hardest version of all tomb raider series .. the puzzles were just brain wrecking

These are GAMES. Great control of camera and angles, amazing puzzles that you have to think through to beat, hard bosses and enemies, nice action sequences.
Puzzles were annoying sometimes. Even back then.
Today, I tried to set up my broken PSP and played 15 minutes of this until it died. I'm here to live my childhood again, and with this great video and sound quality, you just made everything better. Thank You.

5:45:59 I remember getting stuck on this part when I was a kid, never knew how to get down to get the blue item. Only managed to do it once by glitching my way down. So glad to see now in the future how to do it properly. Can’t believe I used to play this game when I was 6 years old, it actually looks difficult.

If you came here for tips on the huge water room with the alligators, at 2:51:58 the game all of the sudden is back at where he was at 2:14:46 and he doesn't get back to that point until 3:29:13.

Tomb Raider Anniversary is still a fabulous game to play 13 years after it was released and I much prefer it to the original Tomb Raider 1.
I loved this game as a kid. :-) Legend was one of my favourites.

Not true as a lot of game mechanics in TRA were not implemented in "Tomb Raider - featuring Lara Croft". For example 04:28:56 and 04:59:59.
I have loved this game since it first released..and to hear those familiar tunes again brings everything flooding back! I'm playing through this right now, myself. I kinda miss the old switches though. I would have liked to have seen those put back in in certain areas. Not all, but some - where they made sense. It is cool to see skies now though. All And all, it is basically the same game though. I've never played it on a computer before and, with the new rig, it definitely enhances the experience. I loved it then and I still do! Now, where's 2 and 3's new paint jobs?. I'm sure that, like everything else, they're probably in the works. It only makes sense, doesn't it? How many attempts did it take to get through this? In the original (especially the spikes!) Lara had some pretty gruesome death sequences. What I don't get is: why does it take a pair of Desert Eagles multiple rounds to take down a bat?! One well placed shot did it in the P.S. version so why not here? A meager gripe, I know but..this is a modern version. Realism has become key in every new game. Oh well. I guess I'll just shut up a play the damn thing! I haven't played Legend of some of the other newer ones. This is my first foray into the newer ones. Angel of Darkness was when I stopped and that was back on PS 2! I STILL at my original versions of some of the best games. Doom, Tom Raider and Resident Evil's 1, 2 and 3..and, of course Silent Hill! Have you seen the pricetag on that lately?! $100+ for a 'fair' to 'good' copy. Kanomi; take a hint! I'd LOVE to play an upgrade of S.H. 1! The things they could do with that one! And, now back to our regularly scheduled program - already in progress!

Not talking about the Survivor trilogy specificly but modern games over all, we keep getting better graphics but at the cost of gameplay. Those animals and minions were so dangerous that you would only win by sheer skill with their speed and reaction time, nowadays the maps where we fight enemies seam smaller, they react slower and more predictable. The animals in this game move and strike like real animals, and not like a simulation like in most modern games. This was great to watch! Gave me so many good memories!

I played this back on my Xbox 360 and ps2 and it came back on Xbox One so I'm excited to play today
I played this game literally 10 years before
Having just recently watched a walkthrough for the 1996 original, this game appears "off," in a way: the numerous tooltips and more emphasized HUD elements feel like the remade was watered down. It can be chalked down to stronger computing capabilities and higher graphical fidelity, allowing for extra "eye candies" to appear in the game, but it also feels like the game is hand-holding the player.
The gameplay itself, the level design, the musical score -- all quite enjoyable, but it still feels "less" when compared to the original.

Great video! The picture image quality looks great for a PS2. What set up are you using? I just got a PS2 with an RCA to HDMI converter, playing on my 46" LED 1080P Samsung TV. And textures are very blurry and blocky. Especially when playing ps1(tomb raider games) on it. You think a PS2 component cables might help a bit?
Textures that were optimized for smaller screen 480p TV's of course will look blurry on 1080p 46 incher.
