Great views from Rieik. Now you really know the mountain you see in the distance every day from your residence in Nursery Veng. November/December/January are the Best months to be in Aizawl, Sunny 🌞 every day. Not too hot during the day but a little chilly at night. May to August it will be a bit hotter and humid, but it might also Rain on and off constantly. Typhoon season.. landslides. And you can't go out as much. Enjoy yourself and may your family be safe.
About the thatched bamboo walls,its called 'dâp', and the hay-like roof is called 'dî'. The young lady could do a bit better with the names and the pronunciation of some names of the Mizo household appliances and wares. No offence intended though. I've also had to ask my dad every now and then. 😅

When are you coming back to Mizoram?
Just before or after Christmas next year. That's what we usually do. Just for two weeks for me but my wife will stay a month.
