- For more than 30 years, the Space Symposium has brought together space leaders from around the world to discuss, address and dream about the future of space!
33rd Space Symposium Featured Speaker Presentation: Gwynne Shotwell of SpaceX
She handled those questions extremely well...some of those questions were seemingly asked in such a way as to pit NASA and SpaceX against each other. Gwynne circumnavigated that conflict quickly...which is appropriate, as SpaceX greatly appreciates NASA, and NASA is one of SpaceX's frequent customers.
Yea put her on the poduim of the whitehouse too while u are at it in range of all the question firing..i can do it easily ..while painting purple nails n not give a eff😤
How can you not like something like this, amazing
It's a fraud in your mind! Maybe you should work on that kind negative thinking!
@jhon doe Sure don't look like a fraud two years on. SpaceX now have the largest market share and lowest price for launches to LEO, and they're valued at $40 billion.
I love Gwynne - she is fantastic
Tough audience Gwynne, but I loved every moment.
Where's an audience?
9.57 wow that lady has some medals
i've been saying that for years.
glad to hear it from someone else.
like yo i am not michael jordan but i'm pretty f×^#n good.
love all about SpaceX yehiiii !!!!
I disagree with the victimhood mentality. But I do love Spacex. And I love her leadership
What victimhood mentality?
Forever Misguided Agree cow's are friendly .
Check out the hair torsion demo on her right shoulder ~9:30 - 10:30. Good statics exercise.
Some questions weren’t answered completely, but OK...
A big and warm welcome for those who consistently and unstoppable continue to believe in the most amazing technology that has the power and ability to really change the course of history.
First of all,in order to bring as many people into this knowledge, I have to expose the basics as simple as possible.
Gasoline, Petrol, and Diesel it is Hydrogen !..what we burn in the cars engines is Hydrogen
Molecular weights of the representative octane combustion are C8H18 114, O2 32, CO2 44, H2O 18; therefore 1 kg of fuel reacts with 3.51 kg of oxygen to produce 3.09 kg of carbon dioxide and 1.42 kg of water. In other words, the hydrogen trapped in fossil carbon during millions of years it is used trough controlled reaction in the engines burning chambers with the Oxygen from air and the result is Torque power, CO2 and water.
Simple is that!!!.... what nature did during millions of years by trapping Hydrogen in Fossil Carbon,……the high range electrolysis process is doing on demand from water but excluding Carbon, so we have Pure Hydrogen and Oxygen gas from water with no Carbon what so ever.
And even more simple is that this technology transforms water into carbonless petrol…. using electricity ruclips.net/channel/UCbh5a1_NgGRpNNtgOP6l_4Q
Yes Space Angle !
How does Gwynne not know everything about the program, results and future??? Senior Exec should know more. I would...
And yet she's there and you're not. I have heard both Elon and Hans say I don't know I'll get back to you, so it might not be as important as you think you are.
I THINK IT IS GREAT.HOWEVER I CANT GET MY EYE HOW ENGINES HAVE REALY HELPED THE WORD.EVERY THING FROM TRAINS TO PLANES.IVE GOT SAY WITH ALL THIS WATTS NEXT.RICHARD DALE WATTS THANK YOU.
Is it Space Symposium or Female Symposium.
You can see people walking out because of that.
Stop hindering science, just do it, does not matter what "gender", human is human.
KrKyoutube "People walking out"? Where do you see people walking out? Where do you see people at all?
11:04 😐
Why SpaceX never consider asteroid mining as a way of fund raising?
because it only makes sense when 1. autonomouse mining is available or 2. when we have large use of materials in orbit
Both are kinda far away
Well, we can use gold and platinum mined from asteroid now.
sure teoretically it makes sense but when you look at the cost-thing it makes no sense. Especially gold and platinum because its not just rare on earth but also rare in space. Its also far away and mining in microgravity is extremly hard and slow. Like i said its only viable when you have full autonomy and super efficient mining with super cheap rockets.
The cost of per kilogram to orbit is still quite high, they are planning to lower it by a factor of 10 in the next 5 years with the bfr
The audience is full of lobbyists for hugely wasteful companies like Boeing. They don't like fiscal responsibility. Loved it when she showed the successful return landings.
Elon Musk's righthand woman
meh.. i prefer Elon's presentations
What's the World coming to?
Do you REALLY want f's runny this / engineering (?) it?
Women have to work 20 times harder? In my previous STEM career, I saw women who were 1/20th as capable as I, pass me in promotions.... All the time. Over decades.
well you are right, women seem to have work harder comparing to men in areas where it requires having a big mouth, well that my friend leads to women having promotions.
@@Sevencoins7 -The operative word here is 'seem.'
Ok it's landed at moon..
Bro being the fall guy for men for 10 minutes straight is pop corn worthy ..u think u can do what i do? This is beyond funny💀🤣🤣🤣 goodluck , with all ur children calling u Deku , sakura, Sasuke and Naruto while u are at it with the purple on top of black 🥰🥰🥰💀 n ur colours are pink weirdo ..like this🥺🥺🥺🥺👛👚 n blue frozen
I like the presentation except for the woman empowering bs part, i want to hear about spacex not some feminism bs
You are illogical.
spock you're supposed to speak like a Vulcan you are becoming more human
ahahahahaahahhacan you say bankrupt 3 times really fast
But Spacex didn't go backrupt. Stop Spreading lies old man.
Lol, Spacex had almost 3 billion dollars in revenue last year. Thats excluding the no doubt substantial investment by Yusaku Maezawa who purchased every seat of Starship for a trip around the moon in 2023.
