I wish that there were more bosses that didn't pop out of nowhere, like a boss that you can see flying around the area, like, you come to the area, looking for a signal, it's pretty much right infront of you, then the boss comes in and blocks the path, forcing you to go around, while doing this the boss also hinders your progress and initiates minor battles, maybe by dumping enemies on you, or by fighting you itself for a bit. But eventually you find your way to the signal and get the jump on the boss, as it wasn't expecting you to get here. Kinda like the two wraiths... Am I sensing a pattern?
Water wraith, Plasm Wraith, and the gooey water boss in Pikmin 1 are actually the same boss. After you defeat it, it actually gets stronger, hence how it evolves through every game. For more proof, the name of the water wraith in japanese is Umibozu, which is actually the name a fictional japanese monster who's known to make the captain's ship crash in the water and capture him. In each game, a ship crashes, and the monster in all 3 games targets the captain. Nintendo actually did this on purpose to make the water wraith and plasm wraith actually Umibozu, that causes their ship to crash and captures them.
I fought the water wraith, and it was a nightmare, EVEN when I saw several videos on fighting it. I was also naturally bad at Pikmin 2. And then I realized as soon as I left that cave that I forgot ONE FREAKING TREASURE.

Did you guys ever get the Crushing Glitch happen in Pikmin 1? Basically, Wollywogs and the Puffstool can inexplicably make Pikmin die, no ghosts or sounds, because of something. I'm not kidding, I've lost hundreds of pikmin against the puffstool due to this.

My first play through of pikmin 2, the water wraith literally got stuck on the walls, and it rolled in place infinitely while I walked around collecting treasure. sadly this was only 1 sublevel. ever had anything like that happen to you?

having had played pikmin one on several, even numerous times, number 8 never happened to me. I would either defeat it in time or called my pikmin away in time. I didn't even know it DID that.
this is either a secret glitch or just normally found but i found a room that has the empress bulblax and a ton of the baby bulborbs and your pikmin get devoured almost instantally although there was a safe area for the pikmin and i lost a ton of pikmin and the cave was filled with the baby bulborbs

You can get any pikmin you want in the submerged castle without cheating just have 1 captain with all the pikmin you want and have the other captain enter the castle captai 2 will join you with those pikmin

The Mireclops was hard when it had a crystal. Lose the jewelry and fuck it up with Pink(Flying) Pikmin. Seriously, Pink Pikmin are SOOOO overpowered in this game, and the Mireclops is proof of it! Once its bud-thing is revealed, you can just use the charge command with about 90 or so Pinks and the Mireclops stands no chance!
I expected the Titan Dwevil to be atleast somewhere on here. It is not just a monster that eats your hordes of pikmin, IT DOESN'T EVEN EAT THEM! It poisons, Electrocutes, Burns, And drowns them with the 4 weapons mounted onto it! I don't remember the names though, anyone wish to name them in this order?( POISON, ELECTRICITY, FIRE, WATER)

Maestro Scornet focused captain's only so you could send in one or even two to bait his move out then switch to the captain with pikmin to attack it for a guaranteed fourth health hit everytime. Even withouth this strat wing pikmin wrecked him anyways. Quaggled mireclops is just about bring the right pikmin types. You need rocks for breaking the crystal, but afterwards you can just use wings and be pretty safe.
One time I was fighting the quaggled mireclops and a glitch happened. When he got up and shook my pikmin off. One of my fire pickmin got stuck. It continued attacking him from the bottom killing him, all I did was stand on the edge. He was low on health when the pik got stuck so...
For some reason the Water Wraith didn't follow me to the last floor,and in fact was only on the last floor. I WAS using the Wii edition... so maybe that's it?

Waterwraith has a 5-minute timer. Any sublevel you take longer than 5 minutes on, he's coming for you
