One of the cleanest I have seen awesome put a gear vendor on the back of that C6 and you will go anywhere with a 355 /375 mile range with those dual tanks and it will be like you just bought a new truck . I did it a few years ago my self with trans in the truck before 55 mph at 2,800 RPM now 70 at 2,300 same truck same gears as you. I'm planning on putting my auxiliary tank back in I ran dual elec fuel pumps 5-7 psi on a 3 way toggle switch nice truck 👍.
Nice truck, I'm willing to get one years 67-72. How do you deal with DMV to get the registration, can these old engines be registered with no restrictions?
Was this truck for sale when you did this You Tube? What did it sell for if you don't mind? I sure is a beauty! Nice truck for the one who is next owner for sure!
Love the truck. I own a 1968 F100. Just have question not sure of. Did we have FM radio in 1968? From all the cars the family had we did not see FM tell the 70's. I am betting that was ungraded later. You can also tell the padded dash was pulled then painted the dash .That is what I did. Mine now has stereo with cd player and fitted it in nicely using what they called a Volvo kit.
Unfortunately this model is not a camper special. Fyi. All camper specials have a side utility box on passenger side. My camper special is a 390 and side box.....1968. But your truck is sweet.
Tim Pierce Fortunetly, it is a camper special. Not every camper special had a side box as it was a factory option, not necessarily included in the camper special package.
@@suttonspeed you are correct. My dad bought his new in 68' & it did NOT have the side tool box. It was not the Ranger though. The Ranger was the top model. His did not have A/C, or P/S or FM radio. It was an automatic which he thought was enough ' frills'. The wheels were 16" split rims. He had it until he passed a few years ago. Had under 60k original miles...
I have similar I bought from original owner son who kept about 2 decades after his Dad left to him. Mine doesn’t have the optional bed mount toolbox either, which would sure be cool. Mines 360 2 barrel, C6, Dana 60 open carrier 3.73. 220k orig road camp long distance miles. Motor had never even had new valve cover gaskets. I put some on but didn’t really need it. All original stuff. Mine came stock with 15.5” Dayton split rims and has 16” white wagon wheels that were dirt cheap and popular in the 70s. Split rims started getting pulled off the road due to safety concerns. The Ranger trim package added the pretty anodized aluminum headlight bezels and grill, windshield gasket stainless trim, badging. Wish mine had the optional cab running lights and fog lights too.
It's got a '69 grille on it. 68's didn't have the depressed center bar with red stripe.
Its very rare to find one this nice with a 4-speed.....
4 speed? i see 2 petals floor and no floor shifter

Wow! What a nice truck. If I ever get an old truck it will be one like this.
I like the Camper Special with the 300 cubic inch straight 6 with the 4 speed manual with the granny gear.
i remember, my dad had the same truck. All same with the toll box on the side 1968 same conditions wow .good memories
Mines white on top blue on the bottom! I absolutely love this truck! Super clean too!

Why did they change the hood letters?
