  • When we ride in the comfort of a restored classic car we don't often think about the components that give us that comfort. In this video we're going to talk about all of those details such as wind lace, wire-on and binding to keep the drafts out. There are different types of material such as broad cloth, leather, napped cotton and mohair used in the seats and on the door panels. Rigid materials, such as panel board, is used in the sun visors. Square weave carpet has been replaced by Wilton carpet, for anyone going for a similar look in the restoration.

    Is this interior factory original? or a reproduction?

      It is an exact copy. The original interior on this car was intact under a 50s style Naugahyde cover put right over it. Thanks for watching.
