    8:52 here you must multiply by 0.9 and equal to 21.6801 kpa

    Hello sir! Sa Pressure D (Pd) ---> Gamma x h
    Imu-multiply pa po ba sa Specific Gravity (sg) of oil, sg=0.9?
    Pd = 4.905 + (0.9)(9.81)(1.9)

      @@TutorJackPh bakit hindi po sinama yung pressure ni air? (- 12 x 0.9)

    Pansin ko po sir nakalimutan ata yung value sa specific gravity ng oil
    So probably, Pc+(0.9)(9.81)(1.9)=21.68 kPa

    Why are you taking 0.5m as the height for B? Wasnt it 1m though? 5:02

    • @TutorJackPh
      @TutorJackPh  Год назад

      hello, the 1-meter height liquid will cancel out because you have 1m downward and upward to point B, that's why only the 0.5m is considered. It's like 0 + 0.5L + 1.0L - 1.0L = Pb

    Sir, ask ko lang po , bakit sa iba ang gamit nilang standard uniw weight of water is 9.790 instead of 9.81? thank you po

    • @TutorJackPh
      @TutorJackPh  10 месяцев назад +1

      Hello lods. Depende po yan sa specified na temperature. 9.79kn/m3 pag nasa 20deg C, 9.81 naman pag nasa 4deg C

    Oil po diba yung iko-consider sa point D. Imumultiply pa po ba yung 0.9 na Specific Gravity ng oil?

    Thank you very much sir for this great video but I dont understood why Pb = Pc.
    Isnt fluid pressure dependent only on height and since C is on higher level than Pb so shouldnt C have different/higher pressure?
    I dont know what topic to revise to clarify my such pressure concepts. Thank u sir.

    • @TutorJackPh
      @TutorJackPh  2 года назад

      Hello sir. Pb=Pc in this problem because it's stated that pressure due to air is negligible, therefore no pressure between points B and C

      Kahit naman walang nakalagay na e neglect mo ung air pressure makikita mo talaga sa table na walang dinadaanan ung air kaya kung ano pressure ng tubig na pumapasok un din pressure ng air, maliban nalang kung may nakalagay na value ung air. I thank you!

    What if po di neglect ang air pero di parin nag bigay ng unit weight ng air ? Pwede parin poba e compute ang c pero dina equal sa pressure B ?

    bakit po di nagamit ang specific gravity ng oil po? it is because air pressure ang hinahanap hindi pressure ng fluid? pasagot po huhu salamat
