@@Divisionality Don't give up, you can do it! Just move slowly up/down the field vertically and drag the right stick up and do a half circle left or right to do the stepover. Watch the motions of my controller and the position of my player on the vid. Once you get those stepovers down, the chip shop won't be a problem.
I done it on the easy difficulty but I need to do it on the other difficulty and still can’t do it I just wanna smash my controller it’s frustrating me
If you haven't completed it yet, try to sag off of the ball carrier or the player who you expect to take the pass, and then close in and go for the slide when you have the angle. You can also do a longer slide tackle by holding R1 or RB + slide, I believe (but you're more likely to get carded if it misses). It usually only registers the tackle if you gain possession or knock it out of bounds.
You need to get the keeper to leak out and rush you, and hope he doesn't get a finger... or 10 on it. Some angles with space work almost 100% of the time (assuming the game doesn't force your player to miss it or the defense gets a lucky clearance), and other angles are purely luck.
