Terrific and much appreciated info on the T37! I had a couple observations on mine that I was curious if you saw the same on the mil spec versus the repro...1) is the top tine larger than the other four, 2) is the outer edge at the tip of the tines a beveled edge 3) is there an 1/8th inch machined flat circumference area between the threads and step inside the portion that threads onto the barrel. I'm hoping these aspects enforce the verification of a legitimate T37...keep up the great videos and thank you!!
Wow, thanks for confirming; I do have one I bought 20 years that is a twin to your milled authentic one. I assumed it was authentic at the time, but it's good to have your verification.
I found out that I have a repro. The casting marks was a dead giveaway for me... HOWEVER when I bought it, it was wrapped in the “original” silver paper with dust on it... and the locking ring on mine is not beveled... so be aware out there
Thanks for the video,Mine came in a round black cardboard container with 59 dated .
Thanks for the effort!
Are there any disadvantages in regards to performance when using a T37?
