Exactly! I always try to teach new people at the gym that they don't need to spar hard but rather apply technique and be playful.
Very impressed with Liams technical ability. He’s a ko specialist but has all the skills in the bag. Really enjoyed this

They should play this video in every Muay Thay Gym out there. This is how sparring is done. Two top class fighters being fast and technical but not trying to kill each other. No place for ego, just learning and improving your skills

Wow just wow. Quality clip with quality sparring this is. Something that's as brilliant as the sparring is they way you to complement and respect each other during sparring, it happened multiple times during this short vid, and it's so important when sparring to have this mutual respect, lovely to see. That's how you improve, see and learn everyone aspiring to be as good as these two living legends. Said by someone who's a muay thai instructor in the Nordics and been loving this sport for 9 years. I've learned a lot from Liam and all those sweeps are nice to watch ( Nicer if you can perform) but this sparring session clearly shows Damien is more of a stadium fighter.
Could you tell me the difference between stadium fighter and the other style. By stadium u mean thaï style?
@@mellamankill how to get point in stadiums. As you know different stadiums have slightly different scoring system too.

Quick question, is it possible for your sparring partner to follow up with his other leg, when youve got hold on his first kick? Sounds like a sleek move to me, but Im not experienced in fighting- could be an Impossible or super stupid move😂

@@sharahman3528 the Idea is, that Liam holding the Leg would act as support, but yeah probably more doable in a Jackie Chan Movie than in a Sparring session
