Yes. This. My greatest prayer for a while has been to know God and be known by Him. Why would a believer need to pray that they would be known by God? Because we can let God know us or we can hide ourselves from Him. We can be in Bible studies and increase our knowledge about Him all the while hiding the deepest parts of ourselves from Him. And the crazy thing is, He knows it anyway. But there is something that happens when we give those deep parts to Him willingly. Our sin. Our hurt. Our anger. Our exasperation. Our struggles. Sometimes it feels like too much. Sometimes it seems childish. But open up your life, your whole life, before the Lord and the Holy Spirit will begin to change your heart. Know Him and be known by Him. He is the bestest friend you could ever hope to have ❤
Amen and amen🙏🏾 Thank you Pillar, thank you Ps Brent for giving the Saints & I an opportunity to be healed by our FATHER. We go through so so much and sometimes we are just being sanctified and sanctification process only succeed when we joy with HIM, cry with HIM, hide with HIM, be anxious with HIM, be concerned with HIM, hurt with HIM even be angry & disappointed & frustrated & losing hope with HIM AND HE always always listens and answer & remind us the TRUTH and we end up like David in all his Psalms - seeing clearly again who our God the Lord is: Wonderful Counsellor, Helper & Comforter, our Rock, our Hope, our FATHER and our Friend. Amen.

Great sermon Brent. Well executed, simple and easy. Teaching to always trust our Lord with our all is clear. Got me thinking- What have I been hiding? I've resolved to rest in him. In him I find rest.
