My older sister is a therapist and she complained that the new NeuroTek stuff is not up to par. She believes the company was sold as it moved it's HQ from Colorado to Florida and launched the new product line. When her old box broke, she gave it to me since I like to geek stuff and maybe use the parts for something else. She got one of the new Neurotek boxes and complained the screen was horrid as she said "my eyeballs are too old to read the thing" and said she missed the old school ones. Taking the old box apart I discovered the old potentiometer for the speed was shot and I put a new one in got the thing working. I told her I got the thing working again and was using it to tease the cat, she said "can we trade?" She was happy to get it back. Since then she did get a TheraTapper box as back-up and I use her former "new" Neurotek to torture my cat!
Can I ask what all you had to do to fix your sister's NeuroTek box?? I have one of the old ones and the tactile plug spot seems to be the problem. I wasn't sure if that seemed similar to hers...
@@rachelsmithburger Do you think it's the plugs from the pulses or the jack on the box itself. If one the box, someone good with a soldering iron could replace it with a new stereo jack. Amazon or some electronics parts place might have those.
I also wanted to ask you if you can do a detailed video on the differences between the pulsators from the three brands. I prefer the EMDRKit pulsators, but I am on set three. And until the come from the Netherlands I'm back to doing eyes or tapping.
Thanks for posting the video. I'm on my third set of EMDRkit pulsators. I'm finding the new base does not charge the pulsators well as well they frequently break. Listening to your video it appears possible that the EMDRkit pulsators could be a defective product. They did respond very quickly and will ship out a new set the same day but what happens when my third set breaks and I'm out of warranty again?
Thank you! I had a feeling this might be the case about the new NeuroTek devices so I appreciate the information!
