coming back here after deadpool and wolverine feels so wierd..
Fr 😭
exactly what I was thinking lmao
it's crazy that all started with the Test Footage leaking.
Exactly! 💯
budget: 58 million
money made 3 days after release: 260.2 million
Good call Fox
+Ryan R. Domestic gross: 152 million, Worldwide in total: 284 million :)

It's at 530m now.
It's 600+ mil now
I would say YES to R rated Deadpool movie anytime!
Judging from the surely R-rated test footage, I think that's what's going to happen. And it'll be awesome.
But 20th Century Fox is making these for money too, so... Yeah
This looks good for a 12-A (PG-13 as you probably call it)
calzor8 Hahahahahahaha....no, no pg 13 deadpool for me.
morning morality If Deadpool is an adult comic than why do they cut out the swearing, and I do read tons of Deadpool.
Spider-Man and Deadpool need to be in a movie together before I die.
***** The Avengers would be interesting.
*Deadpool breaking the forth wall*
Tony Stark: "Hey buddy, who ya talkin' to?"
Yes pleas god let it happen then i can die in peace
I really don't think it'll happen, Deadpool can be in a stand alone movie but not in a movie universe, it wouldn't work
I hate Spiderman I would rather Deadpool showed up in the Avengers
petplatypus Uhm... Hes perfect for a Movie universe. That siply gives them a ton more jokes to make. Like Jermey pointed out... Make fun of how he was in origins and comment on what happens and how they can afford it after past movies in the Universe. And seeing him interact whit say Wolverine... Wolverine: Didn't you die?
Deadpool: Yea... But the fans loved me so they made another movie.
Wolverine: ......
Ryan Reynolds as Green Lantern was abysmal... Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool is perfect
Well his Green Lantern wasn't bad. They just had a bad script
If you give me a good story then I can live with a cgi mask(as pointless as it may be).
I... actually liked Green Lantern...
+1
he was not the issue with that movie but I didn't see his character. I just seen ryan Reynolds.
Hi, I'm from 2024 after seeing Deadpool & Wolverine twice.
Seeing this in 2024 after watiching Deadpool 3, Deadpool and Wolverine is Crazyyyyy!! Fox is consumed by disney LOL
10 years later and Deadpool 3 just got released. Multiple studios involved, over half a billion dollars made, and millions of fans serviced. Great moves by Ryan Renolds and the internet for making this happen!
Looking back, Jeremy was TOTALLY right
They could do a Deadpool movie two ways.
1. They could make it a bit more PG-13ish with a style from the Ultimate Spider-Man episode Ultimate Deadpool (which was really funny).
2. They could make it R-rated and just go all out.
Either way, it'd probably be a good movie.
It would be best to make it a 15.
?
They should just make both.
We have multiple spider-man series going on, why not have the pg-13 Deadpool and the R Deadpool?
e: Ryan Reynolds should do the R Deadpool of course.
It wouldn't be the best financial decision to make the deadpool movie rated r since that cuts out like 80% of the audience of 8-13 year-olds. I would do the same thing. An r rated marvel film would flop.
If they did make it pg13 then it would 'un-alive' it for the comic book fans
Seeing this 9 years later is absolutely amazing
It’s been almost 10 years..
I always thought a perfect way to begin a Deadpool movie would be him watching X-Men Origins Wolverine, and then immediately rushing over to Fox, and holding the executives at gun point to make a proper Deadpool movie.
YESS!!!!
Oh that would be perfect!
That sounds amazing but i feel fox would just be a bitch about it and not allow it.
Kinda like what Deadpool did to High Moon Studios in the Deadpool game?
sooooooo exactly like what happened in the Deadpool game?
For people that may not know this Tom was the CEO at Fox for the time when this was pitched, so that's who Deadpool is taking too, which makes the joke tens times funnier!!!!!!!!
O.O That just blew my mind.
thanks I was wondering who he was talking to
Vino SAX No problem!!
Thanks for confirming. I figured, but was too lazy to google it.
Thank you for the leak "that person" .
We need a Deadpool movie yesterday. It would be so successful. I just want Marvel to have the rights back so he can show up in the Avengers
But he's not an Avenger. He's closer to the X-Men.
kash smith but I hate the x-men. Deadpool with the Avengers would be much more interesting to me personally
He's not an Avenger though...
shirinf333 Deadpool can be in whatever the f*** he wants
***** X-Men are way more interesting than Avengers. And have better movies
Anyone here from the Deadpool review?
....yes
+Martin Carr I'm here after watching Deadpool the movie
I just watched entire finished movie today, the plot was (OK? ) I guess... but the action and the comedy made up for it.
yep
Tseng Jason it wasn't meant to have a convoluted or deep plot. The plot was perfectly deadpool. A simple premise for an awsome character.
And Now we are getting a Rated R Deadpool 3 Wolverine movie
Mark Webb and the folks at Sony should watch this. It will help them learn the difference between Deadpool's humor and Spider-man's humor. Because they sure as hell didn't get it in Amazing.
Spidey's humour is the best thing about the new Spider-Man, they got that aspect down to a T.
Samuel95 Yep
Samuel95 Yep
What Spiderman movie did you watch? His humour was perfect for Spiderman.
XCMAX10X Then you clearly don't know Spidey, have you ever read a comic of his?.. Any of them?
I've been saying forever that Ryan Reynolds would suck ass as the actual Deadpool, I was 100% wrong!
Very wrong
Glad you admitted failure.
I'm curious what would make you think that. He is pretty much the only person I could picture doing it (except maybe Owen Wilson.)
then who voiced deadpool in the game, i like that voice way more
jayhartRIC shawn wiliam scott with scott adkins in the suit
it's insane this came out a year and a half ago and now the movie is here and it's amazing. Hopefully they pop out the sequel just as fast (and with even more money)
Grayson Myers and the sequel is coming
And the sequel was awesome!
Alexroa50 and the third isn’t out!!! Or may not happen at all!!!!
Man how far we’ve come🥲
The test footage is SO FUCKING AWESOME... But the thing is... They will never do a R-Rated Deadpool movie 'cause they need to sell toys to kids. That's a fact and a shame 'cause seriously... WHAT A FUCKING AWESOME TEST FOOTAGE!
Watchmen was rated R and they still made toys of it. Any superhero movie, no matter the rating = $$$ from the kiddies.
The original Robocop movie was rated R and they had kids toys and burger king toys for kids all over the place for it. Hollywood has no problem with those kinds of things so Deadpool will definitely be rated R.
CourtCjbLand
ahhh the 80's, before people became so concerned about violence in media and video games. An era during which you could sell toys about an ultra violent sci-fi satire to kids. Good times.
General Steelflex Same thing with Alien and Predator. When AVP-R came out there were toys on the shelves in Toys R Us.
ds37 Hell yeah! I wish I lived in those times but I was born in 94'.
JUST realized that Deadpool is sitting up on the overpass Drawing that pic that he shows the guy before decapitating him. NICE continuity there. :)
still waiting on that hercules movie review
That. Was. FAN. TASTIC. Oh my god that was so unbelievably funny and true to the character! And even if we never get a full movie of this...I think I'm satisfied with what we did get here. Because it's so lovingly made and so close to the character that it's goddamn refreshing. Maybe a full movie would get old or would spread the comedy too thin? Whatever the case, I loved every minute of it
***** Just keep in mind it's test footage so idk if that's why there's no blood or not.
***** he's also wearing a red suit
but we got 2
@@GregHuffman1987 this was before either movie came out
The one time where marketing and the film really really came up with the goods.
So... can we credit Jeremy Jahns for spearheading the effort to create a Deadpool movie?
So Jeremy, how happy are you that your year long expectations were fulfilled?
Nice Profile Picture Dude!
I am from the future and I can tell you he’ll have a trilogy and the third movie will blow your mind
Making a comic book movie packed with dark humor and insane action and pop-culture references should be a licence to print money. THe test footage was insanely entertaining and funny.
Hi from 2024, it worked out pretty sweet.
3:30 is probably what Fox took from this review :)
lol
For some reason, I find it badass that Megan Fox hates you.
She never told him. He assumes since he was surprised that Manu knew him.
I really want a Deadpool animated series - rated 18+ of course. A movie would be epic, but a series would be a badass mix of dark comedy and high octane action.
Maybe an anime like iron man or blade
Do you actually know what an anime is? Iron Man was definitely not an anime.
BaconPizzaWaffles Actually there is an Iron Man anime, as well as X-Men, Wolverine and Blade.
BaconPizzaWaffles *facepalm*
Crazy it's already been 9 years now we have the trailer for Deadpool 3
The Megan Fox line was funny shit! lol
I know that it was just test footage but I honestly feel like I would've enjoyed it much better if I wasn't taken out of it by the CGI Deadpool. Regardless, the footage itself was hilarious, and it would be amazing to see that as a full movie.
Its test footage the CGI isn't going to be perfect.
I honestly felt it added some style to it.
Its funny its like its test footage.
Most super hero movies have completely animated main characters with most action portions of the movie and since these people making the pitch didn't have money for a costume it makes sense. I doubt if they actually turned this into a film it would be all CGI. They just did it that way because they didn't have the resources yet to make it so it looks completely polished. That's why it's called "test footage" and a "pitch." They need the money to make it look good.
mwstriker98 cyril vamp Did I say anywhere that I expected the actual movie to be like this?
Yay for reading comprehension!
Aaannnnnddddd the movie comes out TONIGHT!!!
Make sure you watch the end credit scene :)
And deadpool 3 soon
@@thebatman5852 yeah
Jeremy actually played a decent part in this movie being made. Pretty much how I found out about the test footage
Happy 10-year anniversary to this video!! I was just curious to look back at this video, shocked to know it was released a decade ago today.
Fuck yeah. If people gave me the option and said "We will either give you only 50 million and you can make the film as R as you want. Or 150 Million and you have our full support of a PG-13 movie with every special effect and first choice actor you want." I know which boat I will be on board.
I think that there will be a deadpool movie
12 February 2016 Rated R
Yesssss
Bro... 😮
An X-men movie where the character wears his comic book costume? Blasphemy!
They should really make this into a movie
Oh shut up, not funny and did you expect to get likes from that? Stfu and this video is 7 years old dumbass
Imagine. If only…if only.
@@tph1403 Calm down dude 😅

Here after the trailer for Deadpool and Wolverine
This video will forever be remembered as one of the most important Deadpool moments
And because of this leaked footage we now have a Deadpool and Wolverine movie.
If the film isn't going to be 18's then they shouldn't make it
Lol who's looking at the age? Nobody
TheFunmaker
Fox is. A Deadpool movie would have to be 18+/R rated for it to be true to the character but movie studios don't like making super'hero' movies that will get rated R. You wouldn't want a watered down to parental guidance movie, would you? I bet you wouldn't.
***** Or it could be censored(bleep) And you can see Deadpool arguing with the editor! lol

Your list is wrong, its...
1.Spiderman
2.Wolverine
3.Deadpool
1. Captain America
2. Spiderman
3. Wolverine
1Spiderman
2ironman
3captain America
FlashCamel23 Your list is also wrong. Captain America isn't even on the top 3. He's on the top 5, But not top 3.
1 - Deadpool
2 - Deadpool
3 - Deadpool
Just my humble opinion
No ones list is wrong, your opinion is yours, that does not make it right.
I think Fox wants to 'test the water' before investing in a Deadpool movie. Remember that a Deadpool movie should be R-rated and not be turned into PG-13 like most other comic book movies. R-rated comic book films usually don't turn the kind of profits that their PG-13 counterparts incur, so there is always an element of risk in making them. Take 'Dredd' for example, probably one of the best R-rated comic movies ever made; however, it didn't make much money in theaters. A lot of it due to a combination of its R-rating and also the stigma of the critically panned 1995 'Judge Dredd adaptation. If Deadpool has any chance of being made into a glorious R-rated feature everyone needs to reiterate and share in supporting in the making of this thing. Make your voices known to Fox and make sure that you emphasize the core things you want to see in the film and support the effort to make it R-rated.
If pg13 is like this clip it dosent matter
Theclaw Yaww don't give up already.
I see what you're saying, but The Watchmen was rated R and it made a lot of money.
kiarorin I'm sorry, but No, watchmen did not make a lot of money. It cost 130 million and made 107 million.
A PG-13 could work. If you'll notice there was no blood in the test footage and I didn't really notice it until it was pointed out. You could also have all the swear words bleeped out and have Deadpool complaining about the bleeping and no blood.
Crimson Possum That's actually a really good idea. A PG-13 rating would work just fine.
Pardon that I didn't know about how much money it made. I only assumed that because when it came out, most of the people I knew were very excited about it and went to see it. I guess I just jumped to that conclusion.
It would be a completely missed opportunity if they didn't open the movie with the test footage then pan out to Deadpool on the couch watching it, and mocking how awesome he is and that the fans demand him. I cannot think of any better way to do that movie.
I gotta say. I'm not a fan of the movie being entirely CGI. Oh well.
It was just CG test footage, the movie would be live action.
...
Its funny when people dont realize the reason its cgi mo cap is to save money. Just think of it as an animated storyboard. A cheap way to show what a live action movie could look like.
Shiirow I love that realistic all cg is now cheaper than live action. Tech has come a long way.
davinchat2
I agree, a well made CGI movie can stretch the boundries further than live action ever could. Unfortunately, you can have perfect CG but usually the story suffers for it, or you get shitty CG/cartoony CG but a wonderful story. Would be nice to see a CG movie to be near perfect replication of real actors and have an excellent gripping story. Sadly the studios either focus on one or the other.
I find myself coming back to old Jeremy videos, it takes me back to a better time.
This movie would have to be rated R to be true at all to the comic and that's the biggest hurdle. Studios like Fox see superhero movies as all-ages fair and feel an R-rating would significantly reduce the amount of money that can be made. With a $100+ million budget that could mean a box office failure, even if the movie is great. The fan base that would be happiest with this movie is not big enough to change that.
Best way around this, (at least in my opinion) make it on a smaller budget around $40 million. So far, they seem unwilling to take the risk.
they could have it rated r as long as they make a really good trailer for it
yeah rated R movies doesnt mean that they will fail because it is limiting the audience. Its like saying people wont buy M games, but we all know little kids have collections of M games. Dont believe me? Go on Call of Duty.
*****
Those games can (and usually are) bought by their parents. Those kids can't see an R-rated movie, hence it limits the audience. It's part of the reason Dredd failed in spite of being a damn good movie.
I think a deadpool movie would be succesful outside of the states, lets just see it like transformers... In the US it gets very little in opening weekend but in other countries people just eat it up
mst3k4evur Dredd failed because of bad marketing and a bad stigma left by the first movie. Plus if it is rated R kids can still see it just with a parent. While most parents won't do this there are still some that will.
Deadpool
Vs
deathstroke
Who would win ?
(Deadpool is like a funny copy of deathstroke if u didn't know)
I prefer Deadpool as a better character, but unfortunately Deathstroke would win he has better feats.
Deathstroke is a bigger badass in my opinion, but Deadpool is still awesome. That could just be because i'm a bit of a DC fanboy, but whatever.
Healing
Factor.
Good day sir.
***** Deathstroke has healing factor also, not as good as Deadpools but he does have one. Also Deathstroke has enhanced abilities like Captain America hes faster, stronger and obviously smarter. And Deathstrokes armour/suit can take blows from Lobo so im pretty sure it can handle deadpool.
peteachu9000 deadpool cannot die
Oh, 2014 Jeremy. So much we must prepare you for.
I still think Nolan North should play the live action Deadpool.
He did it perfectly in games and animation, so why not?
Wat
Both Ryan renalds and nolan north do fine
chagen316 As long as they take their asses to the gym. And don't show their Pizzafaces every five seconds. If a live version would do the cancer mutilation thing at all. Because of the actors ego.
As much as I like Nolan North's voice and style of Deadpool, he wouldnt be the best LIVE ACTION one. A great video game/cgi one but not live action
Hollywood tends to use celebrities over trained, experienced VAs because marketing. Still, Ryan Reynolds is a pretty great Deadpool, so I'm good either way.
Why is it that I can find a million bullshit "thoughts on this" vidoes but can't actually find THE FUCKING TEST FOOTAGE.
"Huh, Paul Rudd finally aged."
Look how far we've come.
If Fox does decide to finally make a Deadpool movie please get Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (21 Jump Street, The Lego Movie, Cloudy with a chance of meatballs) to direct. I can't think of anyone else better to direct a film with over the top action and 4th wall breaking humor.
After Deadpool & Wolverine i decided to take a look back to where it all started oh man the memories
Saw it. It was pretty cool and very true to the character. It also proves that Ryan Reynolds CAN play a good Deadpool. He just needed to be backed by a moive that didn't suck balls.
Also, is one of those "gems" you need to talk about going to be the trailer for Mad Max? I hope so.
backed by a movie*
In the original script it said that it would start with deadpool saying how shit the x-man origin wolverine.
Deadpool as a top 3 Marvel heroes....eeeeehhhhhhhhhhh...... he's popular, not top 3 popular
Who are your top 3 :)
Well, right now it's Spider-Man, Wolverine, and Iron Man, or Captain America
***** see the top 3 comics of marvel :I
He's not really a hero though
Yeah, he's just a Mercenary anyway
Here I am 2 years later and basically everything Jeremy predicted and said he wanted happened. So good on you fox
Jeremy mellowed out.
I think a CGI movie could be the way to go if they choose to try that.
I'm not sure if Marvel is willing to do a live action Deadpool that is both funny and features a lot of decapitations and blood.
It isn't Marvel, FOX owns the rights so...help?
I still think animated is the best way to go.
Ain’t it a funny world we live in?
Ahh 5 years later and we’ve gotten 2 of the best movies ever! I really hope we get another sequel!
Meh, don't care about Toothfairy 2 anyway...I mean Hercules.
What?
Watch the video and you'll get it.
Actually, there is a Tooth Fairy 2. But the Rock is not in it.
Larry the cable guy was in Tooth Fairy 2 not the rock
And now we have Deadpool & Wolverine
Deadpool is OK but i don't know if i can take 2 hours of pun heavy wisecracks, random Pop-culture references and relentlessness 4th wall breaking without it becoming old fast.
waht? You know deadpool isn't just about his wisecracks and witty come backs you know?
Theres things like boobs, I mean plot, that he could interact with or just friggin kick ass because deadpool has some really cool powers, hell he could even meet up with wolverine or x-men if he wanted too. Theres a lot you can do with deadpool, have you played the game? It could easily be done something like that (the storyline is about 4 hours long, but it's still one of the more entertaining games)
That's pretty much what the movie would be plus a lot of great action but that's what you get when youre a fan of Deadpool especially in the comics. So if you think that would get old fast then youre not really a Deadpool fan.
Well then this movie clearly isn't for you.
That's why there's also bullets and stabbing.

Hi
Hi , i am from 2024 july
10 years later and we now have Deadpool & Wolverine
Pretty certain Jeremy Jahns with this review, single handedly convinced them to go on ahead and make the original Deadpool movie!
Who is here after deadpool and wolverine
To think we just completed a deadpool trilogy.
2 movies later
It's confirmed!! IT'S FUCKING CONFIRMED!!!! 2016!
All of this test footage is what created for all these deadpool movies to happen, and for dead pool to be in the mcu as well. All passionate fans against a studio and we made it happen.

Deadpool will save humanity in age of ultron. There i spoiled.
Zain Peterson Learn what a joke is.
hippiebrother3 I know what one is. I was making one
Zain Peterson in comics doesnt matter if people want to crossover in a canon series they will if that canon calls the attentions guess what it becomes real. Also deadpool owns one of the infinity stones from Tanos. Time and space infinity stone. :D ps Deadpool kills gods.....
One day, One day. Money changes everything. But you are right, But remember im joking.
jrnoobzero Money changes my dick size? nah no it dont
Clicked on the test footage link, waited for T minus one second, yep! Already gone.
Without this test footage we would NOT have a Deadpool movie today.
Thank you Ryan Reynolds.
👌💯
This was pretty much a test for the reaction, and the internet went fucking nuts.
It has to happen.
Also, thumbs up to Ryan Reynolds for proving me wrong
And then the movie was released. And it's honestly my favourite entry in the X-Men universe.
I kind of want a full CGI Deadpool movie. Go watch the new Assassin's Creed Trailer and imagine if that was a full Deadpool movie? - AMAZING!!! It'll be the first R rated animated action film theatrically released in the US (finally) and the first R rated animation that's been in theaters since South Park. Lets make that happen.
Doing an entire feature length movie using all CG of Assassin's Creed trailer quality? Are you mad? It wouldn't make that much sense to dump so much money into making it all animated when live-action could do just as well.
Besides if that does happen everyone will be complaining that it isn't in live-action.
General Steelflex
It would make sense if the movie could triple whatever they spend on it. Besides, it means they'll save money on using popular actors when all they'll be doing is motion capture and voicing. And there's so much CGI in movies now anyway. Did anyone really complain that The Hulk was CGI in Avengers? Or Rocket Racoon and Groot in Guardians? If its done well, few would be able to tell the difference.
JosayJalapeno All those characters were CG because they wouldn't be able to be done with practical effects (at least not as cheaply).
Why would they spend more time and money to make CGI humans when they could just have actual humans to play the part?
General Steelflex I could care less about how much money it would cost or who would complain about it. I just said it would be cool if they did it. And I'm sure live action would do just as well, but I would just love to see a CGI version on that scale.
It isn't practical, I know. But doing it this way, guys like Hugh Jackman would still be able to play their roles without having to worry about looking too old and having to stay fit for the next decade. Hell, with a really good actor, they could have revived Heath as the Joker for the last Dark Knight film. In fact, I think they might actually do something like this for a few of Paul Walker's last scenes that he didn't finish before he passed away.
Hi I'm from 2024
Just saw Deadpool & Wolverine last night. I'm so glad this character got the love he deserves.
Deadpool one of the top 3 Marvel hero's? No he isn't.
I'm not American and I have a few of what hero's are famous in the world. Deadpool really isn't well known. Maybe 10 out of 100 people from different countries will know who deadpool is. For Spidey that's 99 of 100 people imo. For Wolverine maybe 95 out of 100. Superman, Batman and Hulk I'd also say 99 out of 100. Spidey, Supes, Bats and the Hulk are THAT famous. With the Iron Man movies I'd say Iron Man has jumped from 30 out of 100 to 90/95. Same goes for Thor, maybe a bit less than Iron Man. Also goes for Captain America.
Knowledge is not the same as popularity. Those who are aware of him love him. The Avengers became well-known through exposure. So give Deadpool more exposure.
Yeah is superman and batman marvel? Or were you just including them
if you're talking about marvel superheros, why put batman into it?
You may not be American but most people know who Deadpool is and can agree he is at the top. And there's a lot of reasons why he. Mostly due to his humor, 4th Wall Breaking powers, and the fact he is just so different from any other hero/anti-hero we have seen. So I do agree with Jeremy's decision.
Khrisarean Irons What he was saying wasn't just Marvel specific. He was just firing off names of the most recognizable and popular heroes
10th anniversary
Look at him all excited... He feels so jaded, now. Like a veteran cop who has seen way too much shit to feel anything and is barely holding on... Mostly to liquor.
Ryan Reynolds is amazing in everything he does . Love that dude no homo.
Deadpool is cool and all, but I hate how non-comic book fans keep praising Deadpool as if he is the best comic book hero ever. I swear there are so many Deadpool cosplayers and costumes in every convention I go to, and I doubt any of them has ever read a Deadpool comic, let alone a comic book. Im not hating on you Deadpool fans, but the majority of his fanbase just irritate me
Just like PewDiePie! There needs to be a topical ointment for that.
***** DC and Marvel make their live-action movies non-canon with the comics, so they are an expert if they research the things that are canon to the movies.
You were spot on 😂! Deadpool is so successful im 100% sure we will get Hulk Vs Wolverine sometime this decade.
