    I like how you showed us what you normally sleep on before telling us about your pillow journey. Mighty helpful 👍

      Agreed this is the first video I think I've ever seen where at 1.5x it just seems like normal speech.

    Effective demonstration. After years of hiking without a pillow, rolling my stuff in a ball in my neckband, you convinced me. I chose the small model: comfortable and great. Thank you so much!

    Buddy that is a seriously impressive home pillow. I might have to rethink my whole pillow game. Awesome review I just ordered the smaller version as well.

    Best pillow made. Plain and simple. It's a very important part of my kit. After a long day of hiking your body needs good recovery. Good recovery is almost impossible if you can't sleep well.
    I'll never own a different backpacking pillow

    Finally, a review from someone who sleeps the same as me!!!! I have tried pretty much the same pillows as you, never completely satisfied, and thought this Nemo pillow might be the one. After watching your review, I'm convinced it will be perfect! Off to buy one now :)

    Have you compared the regular fillo luxury to the fillo elite luxury? The regular luxury seems to have a larger stuff sac and use foam. I’m leaning towards the elite because of stuff sac size but wondering if you have tried them both?

    • @josephsbackpackingchannel45
      @josephsbackpackingchannel45  2 года назад +1

      No I haven't tried the regular nemo fillo luxury. I tried the nemo fillo king, and that is super comfortable. It's just not light enough or small enough for a backpacking trip (3:40 in the video). It's hard to beat the fillo elite luxury if you need something lightweight and packable for a backpacking trip.

      @@kee7678 I ended up getting the fillo elite luxury and definitely for the weight and packability it was way more comfortable than the other blow up pillows I’ve tried

    • @kee7678

      @@CharlesBlank I just got that one too. I slept on it here at home and it worked great. Super happy I finally found decent, lightweight, small comfortable pillow!

    I've currently got the thermarest compressable pillow and I like its firmness. I'm guessing that since you likened this to a down pillow, that it's pretty soft?

    • @josephsbackpackingchannel45
      @josephsbackpackingchannel45  2 года назад

      You can adjust the firmness based on how much you blow it up. It's all air inside. The outside cover of the pillow is soft though.

    Now I need to find a review that's just as good but done by a side sleeper who actually does NOT like down pillows (my preference - I hate down pillows)

  • @Mark_Jacobson81
    @Mark_Jacobson81 2 года назад +1

    I ordered one of these today. Hopefully it’s as comfortable as you say! I actually thought the part where your head lays had a layer of foam but that must be one of the other fillo pillows instead?

    Nice review man, been trying to find the best pillow for stomach sleepers, does the Fillo Elite still have the balloon feeling like other inflatable pillows?

    • @josephpair6417
      @josephpair6417 3 года назад

      No it doesn't have that balloon feeling. That's why I actually like this inflatable pillow. I can't stand any of the others. I know the feeling you're talking about. I can never get comfortable on those.

    Hello. what would you advise to buy if I sleep on my stomach. Nemo Tensor or STS Ether light?

    • @josephsbackpackingchannel45
      @josephsbackpackingchannel45  3 года назад

      i like the tensor the wide size for stomach sleeping. It's the only pad I've found that's comfortable, compact and lightweight. I haven't tried the STS Ether light.
