What about the initial settings of pressure on cpap for preterm babies with rds ,should we start from 5 or directly from 6(peep)

You could decide based on recessions and titrate by bedside fairly quickly (no gas needed to adjust)

But as per european society guidelines starting peep is kept 6 ,

@@PEDIATRICPINNACLE as I mentioned, it would not make a huge difference if you titrated upwards from 5-6 or the other way around, as long as you closely monitor and action
