I'm so sorry for your loss! I lost my mom a few years ago and its so hard without her but I did start doing diys to pass the time and it brought me so much comfort and lots of tears, but it made me feel closer to who I called the Christmas decor queen of our family! Hugs to you!!!

My tree is going to be red, gold, silver, and a touch red buffalo check. I'm going have to recreate a few of these this holiday season with my oldest grandson.
My daughter and I were just saying we want to make our fireplace look like Narnia winter for Christmas ❤️❄️ I found a super cheap decorative light up lamp post we’ll put there and then decorate the mantle all white and woodsy with books stacks.. maybe fur blanket in basket to represent the coats… still thinking thru. I wanted a peanuts tree , and the ornaments were to expensive so
I made peanuts ornaments , snoopy , Charlie Brown and the gang. And bows using red ribbon and peanuts printed ribbon , first time I have tried crafting. So excited to put the tree up.
My tree will be silver, blue and white again. I have lots of inexpensive Dollar Tree ornaments and I load up the tree. The lights are white. The whole tree just sparkles. I love it!!! Each year I look for new ornaments to add to it. I so enjoy your 2 channels. ❤🍪

I liked the cinnamon stick crosses.
Due to space issues (or a lack of it), I’ve had a 3’ tree for several years, and use small ornaments on it. They are cookie themed. Every year, I get a new set of cookie-like ornaments from Hobby Lobby’s ‘My Little Christmas’ collection. I also love gingerbread men, so I may decorate with those this year. 🤷♀️

I like the snowflake decorations at the beginning. I use fishing wire for “clear” hangers.

i do rustic every year for my christmas tree and some family heirlooms with a winnie the pooh angel topper. last year started a tradition with my daughter and grandson making ornaments just sppending the hwole day together crafting!!

I love all of your ornament projects today! I especially love the cinnamon stick Santa! He will make everything smell really good! I had snow markers years ago so I'm really glad to see they're back again. These are a little different but it seems they work just as well.

Great ideas, thank-you Shannon. Congrats on the 104k+ . I've been following you before this site and remembered when you mentioned it on your other channel. Loved your Pinners conference. For those who don't have a lot of spray paint (I actually do) but an alternative is nail polish. I can't remember if you fill a plasic bowl with warm water (?), then add nail polish and dunk the Dollar Tree ornaments into it. I used clear ornaments last year, 3 colors of blue and one white polish. Sprinkle it in and dip. It dries very fast. I put white stems from hobby lobby in a vase and hung the ornaments on the branches and used fairy lights to brighten them up! This went in my living room that has blues, grays, white, dark furniture and was stunning.

We put a tree up in our dining room & we put all of our sentimental ornaments on it. The tree in our living room is themed in burgundy, silver, and white.❤ I love all of your ornament ideas!
