Yush, it's on the way! I’m up to over 140 tests now, and I finally found answers for why things sometimes don’t work as expected. Can’t wait to share it with you soon!
You're totally right😊 Just a heads up, though, it does put a bit more load on the CPU and GPU, so it’s good to keep an eye on that too. Thanks for the great input😊
Best settings: All Low except for Shadows (medium other wise the game is too bright and it lacks any life) and Character Quality / Texture Quality (medium) to prevent texture pop in on Character model. FSR OFF FPS set to 120 in game and capped at 90 FPS in AMD Adrenaline Software. every GPU will want different settings in this respect. My GPU is RX 590 (1060 ti equiv.)
Is it Ok if i ask what CPU you have? and how does it perform under those settings? And do you feel any difference after 31.Oct update? (i am reading rather large boost in CPU usage (it is using a lot less CPU on Low-Medium then before) with char count after that update). Thank you for your comment, stay fluffy!
It's so hard to find the perfect settings i'm trying to find settings that looks the best without tanking too much fps. Even with a 4080 super and 7800x3d i find it hard to have a smooth 165fps it dips a lot in some scenarios (abyss, GvG...) and in world bosses i'm usually sitting at 40-50 fps even with player count set to medium
yeah, i know exactly how you feel, and to spoil my upcoming video- it is not your or your system fault. Also after last update, player count...well it does NOT change the visibility range of players or mobs, only things i see it still does is it adds what weapons players have and NPC visibility range (like "people" in city etc).
I just cant use Direct12..With box check on GPU goes on maximum 12% usage but CPU usage 100% but game is smooth..I turned it off CPU goes to 40% and GPU going to 90% as it should be..Is there any idea why?
@matejkozina6909 hmm well sadly I can think of long lists of reasons. Most unlikely, but is your hardware 10+ y old?, probably not. So other basics, Windows and GPU drivers updated? Level up from that chipset bios updated? Another important question is does it happen only with TL? If so then we could assume that it's issue of the game. At that case, have you checked game files through steam? And my last question for now, have you reinstalled the game? Reason for doing that is if shaders are broken, shader loading happens "outside " of steam, so I am not sure if steam verifies those. Currently not home so I can't check if there's a option to rename shader folder to force it to reinstall those. I have seen this issue pop up few times and reinstall of full game helped at least on one case.
@OptSetting It is 10 year old set up but new release from drivers..i7 4770 with gtx 1060 6gb..I know that CPU bottleneck a bit my GPU but as sayed in Direct 11 GPU goes to max utilization as it should but on d12 max 12% with no performance loss on high pre settings what confusing is....In other game is fine just as need to be .its problem in TL only..Have seen other users complaining too after last update of game .Il try to reinstall it later on
@@OptSetting have found solutions..Set GPU on High performance specific selecting TL did make GPU to go high as possible..Damn Let Windows to decide option was active
shading quality add sub surface scattering on character skin particularly on the face, it will make your character face looks better under the unlit area, and better shadow, on top of that higher shading quality enable more normal map texture on building and terain detail, giving more detail without increasing the LOD (level of detail, higher LOD means more polygon on the model, polygon is like resolution but for 3d object)
You are absolutely right, i did not notice character change before nor the terrain, though i only see very slight change around character (20~ish meter radius), is that what you meant or am i missing something else? And i just discovered that Shading also changes clouds. Thank you for pointing those out, very fluffy of you😊
@@OptSetting try focusing on your character face facing away from light source ( so the face is in shadow ), try switch between low and medium, the shade ( more like ambient occlusion around the face ) change significantly for me, and it adds little bit sub surface scatering, so the blushes on the lips and cheeks has volume.
@@Dekaneko10 Thanks for the tip, focusing on the character's face in shadow made the difference so much clearer, on low it generates slight darker edge on upper lip, that looks like a mustache 😅 I was also curious about the terrain effects specifically, I noticed slight changes only within about a 20-meter radius. Do you see any differences in terrain details further out, or is the change mostly close to the character? I see this very slight sinking effect
Waiting for the optimal settings vid! :D

Nice video, keep it up ! Like the humor too
Thank you

Thank you very much 😊
nice vid. waiting for next ones
Thank you very much, spending every free minute i have for making new and better videos.
@@OptSetting waiting for the full graphic setup video. for largescale pvp thanks
@@riunyc High player pop is the driving factor of upcoming video😊
leaving shadow on high quality and rest low seems to be the best. turning shadow high quality gives me 20-30+ fps. 7900 gre 5700x3d

i second this, shadow quality high or epic, everything else low, with DLSS on quality
I notice a huge Bottleneck setting shader quality to low, putting it back to med-ultra helps a lot. I use the same GPU 7990gre and an i9 11900K CPU
@@lagunriv You are on right track with that😉
It was because of you I found out I can get higher than 60 frames lol
