I had a G35 sedan 5A/T as my first car. Was an absolute beast and super convenient. Unfortunately was wrecked by someone who wasn't quite looking both ways and totalled her. It was a sad day... But I have an NC miata rn so we rollin' now :)
BTW, put it in TipTronic (manual mode) it will be much more sportier. Exhaust tones go up. Down shifts are cool. Just like the paddle shifter cars, except you shift on the stick.
@@FilmsbakedIk its been a year but if you still have it and want it to run forever, valve cover gaskets, oil catch can, and oil and trans coolers if you really want it to keep chuggin. Timing chain if it hasnt been done already as well. Biggest thing with these engines it to keep the oil in it and keep the fluids cool and it will run forever
@@FilmsbakedTips well change oil on time (3000miles or 5000kms) and use 5W30 oil, top up the oil if it goes less than half of the dipstick, and finally just just replace all the worn out stuff like bushings and gaskets, then drive the cars normally and some occasional pull this would make ur car last long, my 2008 G35 has abt 210k miles and still running great
You're just a dude with a dry sense of humor telling me what he knows (a lot) about interesting cars. Love it...kind of the Doug D formula but less corny. Keep it up!
Looks like the front passenger side fender has been repainted (?accident). Always hard to match the silver/grey color on most cars of that color. Still a very nicely designed 2 door coupe.
The G35 coupe is beautiful! But I have bad memories of it. Some 20 year old rear ended me in one and I required extensive surgery on my back. I sued the dude for every penny I could. Other than that small bad memory with the Infiniti, it's a lovely looking car.
They are pretty easy to work on compared to other V6's. Decent amount of engine bay space and MOST not all parts are where you expect them and don't require you to pull the engine for simple sensors and such like many european models
So there’s an 2004 g35 base and it has 123k miles for 7,000 should I buy it ? like it sounds good to me but the one thing holding me back is it already had 3 owners
Hmm interesting, so my father has the proper Skyline V35 and I notice that the g35 is missing the trans switch which goes between standard, snow, and power modes. Is this normal for a g35?
Yeah thats an awd G. And what do you mean proper Skyline V35 😂 the G is a proper skyline V35 if you mean the JDM model the only difference is RHD and name is 350GT instead of G35
@@operator9858 everyone goes to the oil problems. It's not oil problems. It's owner problems. If you don't change your oil, your gonna have oil problems. Blow by, because of beat oil. It’s crazy to think it’s that old. It still looks modern

The 03-04 doesn't have the rev-matching like the 05-06. That has to be my favorite feature on my sedan ngl
@@MA-it3ps yes, that's true.. late 05' production and up had the better ECU for TipTronic...I have 06'
I have the g35 2003 coupe Caribbean blue and has 238k miles all original engine and transmission luv this car very reliable
They are great cars. As long as you treat it right, it'll treat you better!
Any tips for long gevity? I have a 04 g35 w 83k

I never considered this car as an option until today, I just tiped reviews for in and you uploaded 2 hours before.
What a coincidence.
I bought a 2009 G37 for $4500 before the pandemic, the same model year now goes for $10k+ on my local markets. With manual tax of course :-(
@@alexnolasco1339 right!!! I bought one in 2018, and now I can make $ if I sold it...😆
I really enjoyed this. I owned a 2004 coupe. Loved it. Lot of memories. Thanks for this
just to note, that bottle should fit, if you pull out the main cup holder (it should just slide right up) it opens up more space.

Congrats on ur channel. Ur subs r up real high now
My only gripe is that dirty engine bay lmao I have an 05 auto and it's super nice love these cars
I agree... my 2012 g37 engine bay is spotless.
This guy definitely goes into detail. It’s hard to find that for this this genre of yt video

You lost me at “I prefer the sedan”.
"modern enough to be acceptable for a 17 year old car" nice way to put it, 2004 g35 sedan owner
I've worked on so many of those. I never really liked them. Like the g37s but eh, its hit or miss for me.
I've heard that from some mechanics/techs....but they always say the VQ platform is solid, as long as maintenance is done.

A lot of owners aren’t too bad of a thing , just make sure to get a pre-purchase inspection by a mechanic before you buy it.
Nada is around $5700
FEB. 2023 - I just won a 2004 clean title stock G35 coupe with 100,000 miles (automatic) for $4,600......please tell me I found a unicorn!?!?!?
Good deal, these cars are appreciating from what I’ve heard keep it clean and properly maintained and you’ll prob make a profit
@@NovaVortex spoke too soon lol. Currently need an alignment, new tire, and it’s burn oil or leaking from somewhere 😂. Thanks for jinxing me haha jk
If you removed the cup holder liner it holds a much bigger bottle👌👌
G35 needs to be manual, in my opinion.
I love the coupes
Me too! Sedans are nice, but the Coupe body lines have aged very, very well.
Hmm interesting, so my father has the proper Skyline V35 and I notice that the g35 is missing the trans switch which goes between standard, snow, and power modes. Is this normal for a g35?
We don't have those switches in the G35 that I know of. Maybe the X models, but not 100% sure.
I have that switch in my 06 g35x

I’m looking at a 2004 g35 50,000 miles they want 11,000 what y’all think?
Snag out here they want 10k for one that has 117k
Picked up an 04 6MT black on black no rips with 96k miles for $9.5k
I hope you got that, it's a great deal.
Wow the hole clip is an ad with lots of ads
i like the interior on the 350z better honestly
Theres 1 nice G35 for every 10. The younglins ruined most of them
what is a cassette player??
Sedan > Coupe
