Awesome, thanks for the video. Ryobi was not kidding it is definitely a quick release deck.

The pluses are adding up for this Tractor. My 14 year old gas tractor is still running, but I love the thought of battery-powered equipment. I was thinking of zero turn, but this might be better for me. I can imagine that front hitch will have some accessories some day.

those connectors being where they are and a simple plug like that makes "pto" attachments really easy and feasible, especially with the hitch system they have. Front mounted snowblower comes to mind

Brent, Excellent video on removing the deck!! One question. When will a bagger/mulch kit be available? I won't buy a mower without a bagger. On Ryobi's site a bagger Model ACRM028 is an option but not available. Same with the Mulch kit (ACRM054). Please ask your reps. Thank you!

Can you make a video on how to adjust the deck so you get a good cut on your lawn just in case the left or right or even the front side of the mower deck is off

This thing looks so cool... I've watched a few of your videos using it, but I can't find very much info on its ability to ascend hills. I don't need to mow up a hill, but I have some steep trails I need to go up and down, including my gravel driveway. I would love to use this to haul firewood uphill or drag my trash cans to the road with a hitch mounted can hauler. Do you have any steep inclines on your property that you can drive it up?

Hey I really appreciate your videos. I am looking at getting this. It is $7k Canadian, and the batteries are $1300 x 3 with only a 3 year warranty. Seems wild that in Year 4 I could be left with a bill for 1/2 the original price. Any thoughts on battery degradation?

That sure beats having to siphon my fuel out or wait until the gas is almost out to jack up my mower to scrape the deck and sharpen the blades

Where will we take this tractor for repairs? I can't imagine Home Depot being helpful. Also I don't know how good Ryobi is for parts availability. Any thoughts?

I'm having trouble re-attaching the deck. I don't seem to be able to get it on where the quick release handles go. Can you give me a tip or show it? I watched your video and got a video from Ryobi and both said just reverse the process but I can't get it to catch. Any help would be appreciated.

Will the tractor still drive and operate without the deck on? What if I wanted to use this around my property as a little UTV. It has a bed, it has front and rear hitches, it has storage up front....

Juat got this lawn tractor. Removed deck to install mulching kit. Opened kit box and realized they only packed the baffle, not the mulch plug. Put it back in the box and tried to reattach the deck.... NOW I know why you didn't show that part. Damned near impossible to do by myself. Was getting tired of rolling around on my driveway, so I'll try again tomorrow. Not a good start to a $5000 piece of equipment.

Hey I was wondering if you have tried adjusting the mower deck height and realized that the adjustment lever and then trying to adjust the deck with the adjustment bolt and nut do no make sense when trying to level it out. I put my adjustment lever to 4 1/2 inches and then take my tape measurer and measure the back of the deck and it says 3 or 3 1/4 inches

It’s too bad that gas mowers don’t have that kind of a system because they’re the ones that you have to take the deck off more often than an electric unit. One thing I found surprising with the new Ryobi is that it doesn’t have any kind of hall sensors for the motors or temperature sensors which they used to have on the older electric units. I would suspect if they’re using a very basic controller for the deck motors, and they’re just relying on the power draw from the motors to be able to engage the high speed when they start to bog down but I would at least want to see a temperature sensor so you don’t accidentally overheat your motors or controllers.

Since this mower does not have any gas or fluids to worry about I attach a winch to the front hitch and just lift it up several feet to get blade and deck access. I have also removed the deck on my 80v li 42 tractor and reinstalling it is not what I would call easy.
