Maybe Genoa will finally be that shortstop we have been waiting on all this time. We still have at least three years to go until he will reach the majors. Hopefully, worth the wait.
hoping he starts in AA next year and could be in majors net year with some high level performance or need as I think he has to be added to the 40 at the end of 25 anyways
This draft next year will be crazy. There will be a TON of volatility for guys like Genao/Kayfus/Okie/Mobley/Tugboat etc. lot of guys who we hope will be bigtime but could easily disappoint and a lot of guys who broke out this year that could easily cool off.
I am curious about our minor league pitching development strategy. Seems like they're trying something new, and I'm wandering if it's related to the current state of MLB pitching across the league. Maybe they're planning to really ease guys into it, rather then sending 23 year olds to the majors. Maybe they're teaching new things in the minors to better promote longevity/health? Maybe they're ok with having 26-27 yr old rookie pitchers because maybe they see age 27-31 as prime (most bang for their buck)? IDK - just spitballing here
I’m curious how you two would compare our pitching staff as a whole going into the playoffs this year vs in 2022. I feel like we are in better shape this year. It’s true we don’t have anybody who’s going to go 7 innings but I even feel 1-4/5 the starters are more solid
not many people will do a video of going over old picks love it
Thank you we are glad to always point out what we get right and wrong as a learning opportunity
Great show gentlemen! Always fun to hear the draft. Would have been cool to go position by position to see who won.
We should have people vote
Love my guys at locked on ready for post season locked on 🔒
Thank you for the kindness
Thanks guys. Great video.
thank you kind sir

depth is a lot better but the chance for wild misses is huge

It was the old approach to slow play guys through outside of Williams, Bibee, and Allen it used to be level to level per year basically
I probably only got to see a hand full of Lake County games… But Genao always stuck out to me. Great show guys!
thank you he is a fun one

starting is much worse but the bullpen is light years better overall I would lean stronger this year
@@LockedonGuardians 1 and 2 were strong in 22 but I think 1-6 we have a better rotation this year. Call me crazy
Pledac and Civale and even Quantrill were guys that scared me in the playoffs. Would much rather have Williams Boyd and Cobb if he can get healthy
The magic number for the Guardians to clinch a bye is one.
yup
Mariners 95! Refuse to lose!
what a series that was
I expect Petey Halpin to get moved up to Cbus where I expect his offensive numbers to rise.
Could see the same for Khalil
I don’t know if I agree on either. Too much swing and miss for Watson and Halpin doesn’t have enough pop
neither are even close to top 30 guys at this point
Oops, spoke too soon!
Surprised it took so long for Tugboat and Nikhazy
they arent really top 15 are even top 20 guys
Thanks for the minor league rundown! Much appreciated since I frequently don't have time to do the research.
thank you for watching
Sounds like you guys are missing on DeLucia.
We were high he was just hurt all the time
Does Espino just move to the pen?
I dont know honestly just has to prove he can pitch at all
