Here's where I think the rest of it all goes: Annalise lived up to what Rose demanded of her and protected Christophe; She and Eve watched over him as he made his statement to the police, then they changed his name and sent him far away so that Mahoney would never find him, which s why she hired him because she feels responsible for what happened to his mother and that she owes him everything, but is that why she's been protecting him after he killed Sam, because Mahoney has been trying to find him and if he was turned in and they tested his fingerprints, his DNA would be traced back to this and Mahoney would find him?
+Nick Maxwell Maybe because she was afraid that she'd be prosecuted or get into trouble by that Mahoney man. I knew Wes/Christophe didn't kill his mother, but I also knew it wasn't Annalise either.
Just to add a bit more, probably because Mahoney would have no reason to go after her son because if she was dead and he was nowhere to be found and she demanded that Annalise protect him
