Actually, that's not rust on the bottom of the pans, that's copper! Stainless steel pots and pans are generally provided with a copper bottom because copper conducts heat well. Either way, it's such a small and lovely thing to pay attention to. There's so much good detail here.

It remembers me an old flat I used to live alone. I was so unhappy at the time for not living the way I thought was a fulfilling life. Now I look back and I miss so much that old, sad and small flat. I guess I was just too much alone at that kitchen.

This is so, so good! Every time I thought I had a new favourite part, something would be even better. For some reason, the care taken to make the perfect little garbage gave me poignant emotions, especially that there are teeny tiny little Playmobil boxes next to the recycling.
