HSBC Changemakers - Recycled Cards

We issue 23 million cards to our customers every year. While that’s only a fraction of the world’s 6 billion total, that’s still a lot of plastic potentially ending up in landfill.
Our colleague, Lorna, saw an opportunity to make a difference by phasing out single-use PVC cards at HSBC, in favour of more sustainable recycled PVC plastic (rPVC) ones made up of at least 85% recycled material.
