Hiii ya Tom well this was so interesting honestly I didn’t know farming was so exact involved intriguing not just spread and hit n guess thank you for a informative video
G'day John, loving your channel and content - always a good day when I have a new TBF video to watch. I was just thinking about how much actual science goes into producing a crop of whatever - one really needs a smattering of backup from the science people, geology, soil chemistry, biology and botany, physics, mechanics, you name it and to a degree, it's all required. City folk like me should be a lot more appreciative of the hard yakka blokes like you put in, so Thank You! Cheers.
@@tomsbrookfarm Awesome we use Willy as well but I’ll grab this one as well and compare the two. Willy seems hit or miss for us here on the Liverpool plains
Hey JH, for your rain forecasts, jump onto the BOM website and under Agriculture, look at the rain forecast maps and the probability percentage of expected rainfall. Also you get a much better idea of whether it’s going to be widespread rain or just very patchy.

Looking at the expanse of your fields, i'm starting to think the world really is flat.
😂😂😂😂😂
Last 3 years spreading 10-12t/ha dolomite powder for 4.8-5 pH, but of course, farm size is smaller than one of your field, 250ha 😅
Looking forward to playing the 'name game'. 🤘
Tonight!
What app is that at the start of the video showing predicted weather events, looks handy.
That is weatherzone. The temp is pretty good but the rain is anyones guess! I also use willy weather which is much better but only does 7 days out
