I have been struggling to free up space due to multiple files and needing to update windows. This was a great video and helped me maneuver through very easily.
This helped alot I ended up with almost 10gb free memory...now I need to get my USB working they work with a mouse but if I use a memory stick it won't read it but I can put that same memory card in a SD adapter and plug it in the SD slot and it will read it

hello i have hp stream 11 pro and i send this laptop to fix because it need to be format. after that they install a new windows but the old windows is still in there. i tried to uninstall the old ones but the uninstall option didn't come out. can you tell me how to remove it since i believe these old windows is taking my storage space :(
Edward Homer, I have this Laptop for College. I do need Office and its apps, 300.00 worth dang it! The 365 was not acceptable for class. I was able to use this for 2 semesters. Now the windows updates come every week. It is September 2020. I need to save my current files and gmails. Plus the office I need for school. I am a geek too and I have used a boot usb. I have a removable TB Hd. I think this is baloney with not being able to find the stand alone updates. Now the system told me that I need to replace my version of windows. I do know my clutter is straight from useless update files. Any suggestions?
I can sing in to my Hp stream 14 laptop evening when I put the password or pin it still won't let me in and I have reset restarted and shut down but nothing I do is working can someone help me please
The updates are usually security updates. I run AVG Free and haven't touched it in a year. Some people will get the error not enough room when it tries to up-date. If you want to up date go through the restore process once every 6 months or so to get a current version.
when i put the code in i got 5 files that one is share file cached 3 files with random letters and numbers and a file thats na,es with random leters and numbres do delete those
I would not have bought this if I had to install programs for work or school. All I do is surf the net with it and it works fine. I run Easy Cleaner and CCleaner once a week.
It is baffling to me that they put such a small HD in these things. I understand the concept that you use them to work virtuall but with Win 10 updates they fill up fast.

Looked yesterday and still 10 gigs free 10 months later. Machine is working fine for streaming and surfing the net.

I am pretty sure I turned updater off on my gals HP Stream. Wish I could be more helpful. Good luck.
I tried to do this but my computer is telling me it needs a certain amount of gb in order to recover my computer..
I have done my gals twice. She has nothing on it, no programs or media. Maybe try downloading and running CCleaner. Good luck.

I can't advise you on that. You can google those file names to find out what they are. Good luck.

my 3-inch USB holds double this storage. what a shame.

ive got one put linux mint on it windows takes too much space
I looked into doing that but felt a little intimidated.
