As an old grandma I would be there to help 24 hours a day if I could. I am in New Mexico so that's out of the question plus you have no idea who I am. My heart goes out to you. Me too!! I’m a MiMi of 5, my daughter has 2 sets of B/G twins as well as a singleton. I was thrilled to be there as a “baby holder” and I covered nite shift help. And specifically I took care of my daughter, with food, lots of fluids & rest. Memories I’ll never forget. 💗💙💗💗💙

6-10 weeks till you can drive again...muscle reaction in the pelvic area weakens after birth...takes weeks till muscle tissues heals, just like gums would in a mouth after surgeries...you got this already! Congrats to you & your happy family for the new additions, so precious!
And poor big brother, such a delight to watch him grow, whom has all girls for siblings...he will be SO protective of them all, brother power =)
My baby was in the NICU, I gave birth on a Tuesday and by Sunday I had no choice to drive to see him everyday at the NICU
I drove after two weeks my husband went back to work and I needed to do school runs the doctor signed me off to drive over the phone 🤣

C-section is difficult I have had 2 and my recovery was long and hard so I understand the frustration.

Yes, unfortunately early evening hours are typical baby fussy times. So that makes bedtimes for the older kids harder. Pretty sure their making it harder is a reaction to all that has happened in the last several months, remodel, and moving, plus the end of pregnancy slowdown for Mommy. Things will get back to a routine in the next few weeks. So cute seeing the kids hold the littles, made me want to have new babies in my house.

Oh Bear, Lyndle and Eloise were wonderful with the babies, Bear was so contained like he had done it all before, Lyndle was so excited with everything such a mummy and little Eloise wanting to be right with them - so cute. Oh bless you Rachel it is so hard when you are torn not being able to comfort all your babies at the same time and you have doubled up twice. So pleased for you that you didnt have to stay in hospital another night. Hope the first night home went well, I know it will be hard but take care as you have had major surgery so need to recover xx

I remember when my niece came home from the hospital after three days with my great nephew and my great niece wanted mommy to hold her and she couldn’t. But having my sister there her mother and grandma made it a lot easier. So congrats on your twin baby girls are absolutely positively adorable ❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰

Precious! Congratulations. I remember crying in the car on the way home from the hospital with baby #5. I looked back and saw 4 car seats and 1 booster seat. It was overwhelming on little sleep and recovering. You’re right. There will be some hard moments. But that is overshadowed with so many awesome days.
It's probably a 9 hour commute but I'd come hold the babies or play with the Bigs or Middler. I thought it was so sweet that each of the kids in the video were holding their mirror twin. I like the nickname Alee Sue that Bear gave Alexandra.

Now days with so many people doing IVF.. there are so many sets of twins even triplets and quads. (A friend of ours has quads who are now 10. The engineering firm paid for a live in Nanny till they were 5 so hubby could work)
I often think about people like my gma who had 2 sets of spontaneous twins back in the 50s back to back. You hardly hear of that or better yet when we did our IVF cycle we put 2 embryos back and one split naturally. Crazy. So do you guys explain to others that you having twins was by your choice when you transferred to embryos? The names are beautiful and so are the girls. I like how you named Ada after a town. Where I'm from Boise Idaho. Ada is the county. Lol. Rachel you look r really good for having 13 pounds of baby.. I do recall my feet swelling up so bad after my c section with Hannah and Sarah. I couldn't even wear flip flops. Crazy!

AHH Lyndle letting her baby hold her 2 fingers in each hand. So precious. And Bear being the big brother and going to unbuckle the baby. He was super gentle and so sweet holding her. Eloise seemed surprised the baby was real, she saw her move and then commented on her eyebrows. Look she even has eyebrows! This bonding is so important. I remember just turning 5 and getting to hold my new baby sister, it was instant ❤ love.

The nurses had me teach how to give a newborn a bath on my next to last birth! It was a full moon and they had a lot of babies born!
