    I spent all weekend on footwork , I actually got worn out just doing the walking and posturing required! Iaido is harder than it appears physically. And learning to isolate all these little parts requires immense dexterity ! Thank you

    wider stance throws my balance off so I try to stay in a “medium” stance when I practice

      So our style's curriculum is not really structured like that. (If you are referring to Defensive and offensive) Other Koryu arts are structured in this manner.. Our curriculum has many of these techniques (waza) but they start out as "defensive" but then then evolve in "offensive" as the practitioner progresses. (Timing, state of mind, ect ect)

    Well i dont know if this is correct but i think of having a stance as in your feet are on train tracks or something not too wide same as planting a skateboard

      Yes and no, as long as you are able to change weight distribution (Without the other guy seeing lol)
