This manhwa isn't really about sungji and sumin, this story is all about seju and sumin, about their love, sacrifices, regrets, and chances. The moral of this manhwa is about letting go and taking chances. They are their own greatest love, but fate is deliberately playful, they love each other but pain and mistake kept pulling them apart wherein even if they badly want to stay and hold each other until they can, the pain keep their relationship stained not until there's no single chance to bring back all the genuine love at all. The most painful also refreshing part of their story is that they chose to start a new beginning with their new partner, they choosed to restart their life without each other, they choosed to take chances to be able to feel the freedom again. This isn't some kawaii story, this really happening in real life. Letting go and taking another chances for your life means a huge strength of yours, because in the first place letting go of something or someone we really love is very hard.
i ve never felt more hurt because of a manhwa.. this story and the characters in it, they just seem real you know, unlike any other manhwa in my opinion. i truly believe that the story is inspired by the creator s real experience. it s a story about a tragic ugly truth that some of us real people actually experience in life. amazing...
At some point, I can't find any piece of connection between sungji and sumin. They were some kind of couple that met later in their lifetime, click and that's it, got the happily ever after. Meanwhile Seju and Sumin has it all. The connections, friendship, struggles, pain, tears, happiness, test of time and everything. They could be something more than what they ended up but it just won't work the way they wished it to be. Because they had past, mistakes they wished they never did and was enough for them to think they were not good for each other and deserved better.
It hurts because seju waited till the end for sumin to forgive her and endured all sumin ' s Playgirl phase and her toxic behaviour but she wasted her precious years over her.
I used to think that Baek seju was really annoying and she deserved what happened to her but after I watched this video now I realized how unfair and sad it was for her and I feel bad for her but I guess they were not meant for each other but it still makes me feel sad for her she's not a bad character she just loves sung Sumin So much.

Seju let sumin take revenge for years and endured her hurtful toxic behaviour only to move on 😂😂 i couldn't digest the ending even after 2 years....in a relationship there is not only good time but bad time also and they should learn and be forgiving and they saw every colour of life together and learned so much only to move on 😅... guess life doesn't give closure
I was so disappointed with the ending too, this's not how to end a 17 years relationship. The ending makes no sense. I wish the story was about them learning from their mistakes, learning how to communicate and reach the roots of what ruined their relationship and working on fixing it. It's sad that the story was about their break up and how they should let go of each other.
The flashbacks are absolutely the best part of the story, the events happening in present time are kinda boring and just cliche unnecessary drama that gets solved magically.
I know sumin and seju are happy with their own partners now but still a part of me wished they'd end up together but i guess its not possible cuz they both made shitty mistakes in the past but maybe just maybe if they communicated and worked things out together they'd still be by each others side together as a couple and it makes me sad just thinking about it, this manhwa really broke me it was hell going through the chapters of their past after seju said goodbye to sumin :(( maybe they're both together and in a happy healthy relationship in a alternative universe or something :') (yes im delusional)

I still like seju even if she's toxic 💀 and some of y'all might've forgot that she cheated on sumin; they broke up then her brother cuts sumin's arm until then their relationship became incredibly toxic that they're just using each other: as sumin's revenge on seju. So both of them are actually terrible people that did bad things to hurt each other, cuz they're human and they can't change the past so they developed a trauma bond. They were each other's first love, but not every first, lasts forever too. that's the importance of them redeeming themselves to love again and the possibility of having a healthy loving relationship hence; Sungji and Dowon... they're pure hearted people who wanted to give them a chance to believe in luv again ✨💜😿
