    Homemade Appam is a delightful South Indian dish made from a fermented batter of raw rice, urad dal, boiled rice, and fenugreek seeds. The raw rice and boiled rice provide a smooth texture, while urad dal adds fluffiness. Fenugreek seeds enhance the flavor and aid in fermentation. This combination is soaked, ground into a batter, and left to ferment overnight. Cooked in a special appam pan, they turn out soft in the center with crispy edges, perfect for pairing with coconut milk or stew.
    Ingredients:
    Raw rice 500g (2 cup)
    Urid dal 50g (1 small cup)
    Fenugreek 1 tsp
    Boiled rice 1 cup
    Salt to taste
