    You forgot to dry test for 1st reading,then put oil in and do second(wet) test, that way you van tell if it’s rings that are worn,or valves . If it valves that are worn the reading won’t vary, if it’s rings compression will jump when wet.

      Yeah not exactly right. This was after a full top end rebuild. It runs tho!

    Is the starter motor plugged into the solenoid when you did this?

    Nice but usually i put oil before the test only if I have a bad compression, if it's better with oil that mean piston ring ko

      It was a quick text after the top end rebuild. It has since fired up. I’ll test compression again once running fully and hot. Fingers crossed!
