Can we PLEASE make it standard practice to include a DIM link? So easy for you... even easier for US; we can listen to your video, keep it playing for views, AND use DIM... win win win.
The problem i have with perched threadlings is that they do not register as grenade damage nor weapon damage, which makes the orb production really tough if you consume your threadling grenade .
Strangely enough if you consume your shackle grenade while wearing Verity's brow the suspension pulse from a weapon kill counts as a grenade. So either the threadling thing is intentional or a glitch
I know its not really connected to threadlings but if you have 2 DoT procs on an enemy with witherhoard and necrotic grips your grenade literally only takes 5-8 seconds to come back possibly even less
With the swarms equipped you should try to pick up the tangle and throw it don’t shoot it. If you throw the tangle with a warmers you will instantly get a ton more melee energy back which will let you unravel targets more often
i love doing that. just remember you would have to equip the fragment that lets tangles give you melee energy back and that is what makes the swarmers give you additional melee back as well.
If the weapon is able to deal precision damage, like in the case of Rufus, Hatchling doesn't also proc on multi kills. It's either/or. The multikill part of the Hatchling perk is mainly for the Raid GL right now, but I'm sure other non precision weapons will eventually come out and have it as well
The theorycrafter in me thinks that if you don't have Swarmers, Verity's Brow would be a good exotic option. If my understanding is correct, once Death Throes is proc'd, the Grapple melee damage would be buffed, but the Threadlings that spawned from that would also be buffed. Food for thought.
Ive been running this with Osteo Striga and Eye of Another World its prob not as good but I also don't have the exotics. I can keep a pretty steady flow of threadlings going and the poison AOE from Osteo helps out as well.
fun build while doing stuff in lower end of things. grapple melee sucks while playing in fireteam things since teammates can end up killing the mob you're trying to melee even unintentionally. IF you can kill red tags in one shot, this build would work so well in things higher level things.
If you don't have Rufus's Fury, I've found a Round Robin with Hatchling does decently as a substitute. You have to be a little more mindful of your grenade energy, but the Strand Loader in the build lets Round Robin not feel quite so sluggish to reload. Every headshot kill (which is pretty common on a 120 RPM hand cannon) gets you 1-2 Threadlings, one guaranteed for Hatchling and a second has a chance for the fragment.
I was running the other build but I think I rather use this one. So, as long as you have a primary with Hatchlings is ok or much preferred? I have yet to have the raid AR yet.
What about running Thread of Propagation instead of Rebirth? With the grapple melee, it gives you unravelling rounds on a kill even if your melee ability is on cooldown. Obviously, you could only do that in normal level content, but then again you probably wouldn't be running grapple grenade in master+ anyway.
@@joshuascott57 thank you what about final warning side arm will that work with this build ? and what about the helmet verity's now will that be ok to use ?
@@justinmaddox4782 No problem. Glad to help. I would imagine that Final Warning and Verity's Brow would work fine. Actually, they would work together. With Verity's Brow, you get a buff called death throes that buffs grenade damage and regen that stacks 5x for getting kills with a weapon that matches your subclass and final warning is a strand weapon. You would lose the threadlings ability to grant unraveling rounds without the swarmers boots but there is a fragment that grants unraveling rounds for landing powered melee attacks.
Hate the grapple melee thing, can never get it. Sometimes I'll end up just grappling and no melee happens and I end up being slapped in the face by the cabal I sjust tried to slap. It sucks
Your builds are awesome, but not for anyone that plays casually. triple 100 stats or even just 2 100's is so hard. Thanks for the effort you put on making the builds. keep the awesome work. Cheers from Portugal!
To be completely honest, other than resilience, the stats are just a "nice to have". Discipline here is not the reason you're getting your nades back so quick. It's all the armor mods, demo procs, and (the best for last) Thread of Generation. If there was a graph showing how much grenade energy is gained from each source, I'd say only 15-20% is from natural grenade regen on a generous estimate. nade energy on orb pickup is 10% per orb, demo being 10% per kill, thread of generation giving out a percentage based on damage done (as a comparison, a needlestorm takes grenade energy from 0-100 once most of the threadling pop).
RUclipsrs always have their build with special artifice armor and then say look at how easy I kill everything 😂. Casuals can never replicate their play style. Other issues I have is their builds don't work with fireteams. Everybody is shooting at same enemies and you can't get your abilities to always proc. Their videos are always the same loop play running single lost sector.
@@achance007 Well... Most builds that don't count on stats will still need you to interact with an enemy. It'd be nuts to have an engine that doesn't rely on it.
Strand just never feels broken to me. It has moments and does cool things. In the end though there are builds that just do so many things in so many ways and strand ain’t it. It feel like gimmicky support play
Gimmicky is not a word I would use when a power is this effective in what it sets out to do. It's primer focused. Alot of using strand is prepping enemies where as other abilities like void are about chaining enemies
Bungle missed the mark again. Why have load outs and a artifact but you can’t unlock the entire artifact ? I’m in a raid, I’m at a juncture where I change a gun for dps but oh wait I have strand and void stuff slotted but I’ve switched to arc. Oh dang hold up everyone let me reset my artifact……
Bungie explained that the reason for this reversion was because having all 25 artifact perks unlocked all at once was kind of overpowered. I agree that 12 isn't enough and that you shouldn't have to reset your artifact every time you want to change one perk, but i can understand where the change came from.
For me threadlings are just too week. Ye can run in some general activities but anything else they struggle. Love your builds though mate I use many of them.
The build looks fun...but getting all the gear to actually make it work feels like chewing on glass...literally don't want to play the game due to how unobtainable the gear feels
Find the full build here! moba.lol/GrappleSwarmerSquad
Will osteo striga work with this build I'm gonna use this build it's beautiful

Is he talking about farming the raid by him self or with people ?

Amazing video! loved the in-depth breakdown of each part.
This is great I got the exact drop of that autorifle.
The shader on that helmet definitely looks like Cell from DBZ 😂
You should go 100 into resil and recov, you don't need 100 dicipline because of the fragment
how do I make my own build from Mobalytics
i want a stasis hunter build :( , i lose my build with this lightfall changes and i dont have a ideea for a build .. :(
def one of the most fun builds, currently torn between this one and the arc build , as to which one is more fun.
Another great build, but it's there any other exotic armour I can use because the exotic you mention I don't have.

I was lucky enough to get Rufus's Fury unlocked, demo and hatchling is really fucking good. I also got the raid exotic on my 3rd Nez kill

Would love to not need a crafted raid weapon build. Some of us can't get that roll, let alone a single one.
Would Phoenix protocol be good for strand just curious I just got it
Phoenix protocol is specifically for well of radiance, allowing you to regain super energy for kills while standing in the well.
